Jumping In With Both Feet

Well, here we go! I just posted over at the old Hard Starboard, and then did the old V-8 forehead pop and remembered...hey, waitaminnut! Looking around I gotta say - Jim, ya done good! I just have to get used to the new thingamabobs and gadgets.

Speaking of politics, apparently Mike Huckabee really stepped in it yesterday. Check this out. Y'know, I kinda liked Huckabee when he first came on the scene, but the more I listen to him and read about him, the more I see that he's not the man for the job. Ann Coulter certainly has a few things to say about him...and nobody says it like Ann! To wit:  "Huckabee is a "compassionate conservative" only in the sense that calling him a conservative is being compassionate."

Then, of course, there's Rush's take.

All in all, I don't think Mike Huckabee's blip is going to last long.
