Two Wrights Make A Wrong

And "Rev'rund" Meeks isn't just an Obama advisor - he's an Obama delegate.

Oh, but now he says he's sorry.  Like that makes everything all better.

You know what they say: Once is a fluke, twice a coincidence, thrice is a trend.

The count is now 0 and 2 on Our Mr. Hussein, and there are months left to go.  How many times can he give The Speech before it starts sounding....phony?

Something tells me we're gonna find out.

UPDATE: How would you like to be Geraldine Ferraro right now?  First she speaks the truth about Barack Obama being where he is because of his ethnicity; the Obamanations splutter in outrage, and Hillary pink-slips her; then Wrightgate erupts, forcing Obama to admit that yes, race does matter after all; and now he is as much as conceding Ferraro's original point while sounding more and more like Uncle Jeremiah all the time.  Small wonder that she lamented...:

"To equate what I said with what this racist bigot has said from the pulpit is unbelievable," Ferraro said today. "He gave a very good speech on race relations, but he did not address the fact that this man is up there spewing hatred."...

"What this man [Wright] is doing is he is spewing that stuff out to young people, and to younger people than Obama, and putting it in their heads that it's OK to say `Goddamn America' and it's OK to beat up on white people," she said. "You don't preach that from the pulpit."

....if you're not (1) black and (2) the "spiritual" guide of the next (vice) president of the United States.  Kind of like J-Ger's observation yesterday:

A man who claims to have dedicated his career to good, clean government chooses to buy his house with Tony Rezko, and a man who claims to have dedicated his life to racial reconciliation chooses to attend a church that teaches that the government created AIDS to commit genocide against minorities. Obama has this strange habit of choosing a path that takes him in the opposite direction of his stated goal.

Ah, but you must remember: Barack Obama is entitled to his serial hypocrisies - because he's black.  He's entitled to funnel earmarks to his wife's employer that triple her salary and frolic with crooks and yet crusade for "clean government" - because he's black.  He's entitled to disciple for over twenty years under a flaming bigot, build a presidential campaign on the maxim that "race doesn't matter," and then make the election a referendum on race once his guru's bigotry comes to public light - because he's black.  We are not allowed to do anything but hand him the keys to the White House - because he's black.

We're also not allowed to say so - because he's black.

See how simple it is to understand this election cycle once the groundrules are explained?  And aren't we sooooo fortunate to have the Messiah to engrave them on stone tablets so even such untrained ears (and eyes) as ours can "get it"?
