Exchanging A Mistress For A Master?

In a manner of speaking, of course.  One, after all, does get the distinct impression that if Barack Hussein Obama did manage to eke out the Democrat presidential nomination and then pick Hillary Clinton to be his running mate - and she accepted - she would be the REAL president behind the scenes, rather like she was for eight years with her husband.  Which, of course, one would also think that even a naif like B.O. would himself realize, and therefore not extend such an invitation to the Empress in the first place.

He does, however, appear willing, even eager, to turn his potential administration over to another '90s-era Donk figure, who would also quickly reduce Our Mr. Hussein to the status of glorified figurehead:

Democrat Barack Obama said Wednesday he talks regularly with former vice president Al Gore and would consider putting him in a Cabinet-level position or higher.

A woman at a town hall asked the Illinois senator if elected president would he consider tapping the former vice president for his Cabinet, or an even higher level office, to address global warming.

“I would,” Obama said. “Not only will I, but I will make a commitment that Al Gore will be at the table and play a central part in us figuring out how we solve this problem. He’s somebody I talk to on a regular basis. I’m already consulting with him in terms of these issues, but climate change is real. It is something we have to deal with now, not ten years from now, not twenty years from now.”

Climate change is a myth, and if it ever became otherwise, it would not be caused, still less remedied, by returning humankind to the technological and economic Stone Age.  Any more than a True Believer nutbag like Fat Albert would let a technicality like not having been actually elected to the presidency himself get in the way of exercising its powers for himself and his own pet delusions.  It's not as if Bar-ACK would object, right?  Thus would the 2000 election result finally be nullified and the one-time prince finally be crowned king of a realm that is poisoned only in - and eventually by - his own deranged mind.

The only thing getting in the way of such a Hobbesian end is another slice of Obaman hypocrisy on a par with...well, Fat Albert's own:

When my family back in Pennsylvania turns on the TV these days, they may see this Barack Obama TV ad where he’s standing in a gas station saying the following:

“Since the gas lines of the ’70s, Democrats and Republicans have talked about energy independence, but nothing’s changed — except now Exxon’s making $40 billion a year, and we’re paying $3.50 for gas.

I’m Barack Obama. I don’t take money from oil companies or Washington lobbyists, and I won’t let them block change anymore. They’ll pay a penalty on windfall profits. We’ll invest in alternative energy, create jobs and free ourselves from foreign oil. I approve this message because it’s time that Washington worked for you. Not them.”

Factcheck.org today takes a look at Obama’s claim to not take money from oil companies and concludes that the statement “misleading” since according to the non-partisan Center for Responsive Politics Obama has taken more than $213,000 from individuals (and their spouses) who work for companies in the oil and gas industry — not to mention that two of Obama’s top fundraisers are top executives at oil companies”.

Is $213 grand chump change to a campaign that vacuumed up almost a hundred MILLION smackers in the first two months of the calendar year?  Perhaps.  But Obama is the one who put out the ad claiming to have not taken a single red cent from "oil companies and Washington lobbyists." 

Or, rather, that he "doesn't" - present tense - take their money, as opposed to that $213,000 that he did accept in the past.  But of course, he's all about the "future" and "energy independence" that his own pronounced energy policies stoutly oppose.  And I'll wager he takes all kinds of money from environmental extremist groups who'd sooner have us all huddled in caves then maximize our energy resources, which can only be done via the investments in R&D and exploration undertaken by....oil companies.

It's downright Clintonian.  And last I knew, Al Gore hated the Clintons, because they're cynical "compromisers" and he's the Great Pagan Prophet.

Will Fat Albert latch on to what might be his last ever chance at the absolute power he craves?  Or will he morally recoil from a "messiah" whose spirit may be willing but whose flesh - and political acumen - is so weak?

No wonder False Messiah is getting "worn out".
