Another No-Ko Victory
Perhaps defensive in nature, but a victory nonetheless, according to former Ambassador to the UN John Bolton (in the first 1:30 of the clip):
I suppose you can call North Korea's "denuclearization" a "diplomatic victory" for Bush Administration "multilateralism" if you can, with a straight face, call Kim jong-iL turning over his nuclear materials to the ChiComms - who are, after all, Pyongyang's principle patrons and have been for fifty-eight years - anything other than a lateral move for them. And in return they get another tsunami of American economic aid, probably more nuclear assistance, and their regime removed from our list of terrorism-sponsoring states.
Ambassador Bolton is absolutely correct. We gain nothing of any substance from this twenty-sixth agreement with the Kim regime, which will be riven by them just like all twenty-five of its predecessors, and the NoKos and Red Chinese gain breathing room for the rogue regimes next round of nuclearization and consequence sabre-rattling and mischief-making. Only next time their nukes won't fizzle - and won't be tested inside a cave, but on Tokyo or Seattle.
And libs still call Dubya a "warmonger"?
