The new "View" on Michelle Scheherezade Obama....

....is that she's the New Clair Huxtable?

Well, they are both black, both women, and both lawyers.  Mrs. H didn't get much into her political "views," but I don't recall her being a racist or doing fist-bumps with Cliff.

A pity that the Cosby Show isn't still on the air.  It might have been an intriguing barometer of the degree to which "black America" is in the tank for Scheherezade's hubby if the scion of Jello pudding had turned his program into a weekly thirty minute Obama campaign spot, complete with Obama guest appearance - or if he'd refrained from so much as a lone passing mention.

Either way, it would have been a ton more entertaining than any broadcast on which Whoopie f'ing Goldberg is allowed (Star Trek: The Next Generation alone excepted).
