Desconcierted

Perhaps that slice of coercively "well-intentioned" "advice" is borne of this latest Hussein platform plank:

Whoa; talk about gimmick infringement.  "Comprehensive" immigration "reform" is John Sith McCain's turf.  If that doesn't get Maverick pissed off and finally motivate him to throw away the comitous kid gloves and start whacking False Messiah bloody with his cane, nothing will.

Indeed, His Eminence taking a stance that is bitterly and angrily opposed by two-thirds of the American public would seem to be doing Sailor a huge favor.  Could he have already realized that?:

It's all toro mierda, of course.  Darth Queeg is more crazedly determined to Mexicanize the US of A than Cap'n Hopeandchange will ever be.  But he saw what happened to his border erasure shamnesty poison pill last summer, and what it almost did to his GOP-screwing presidential ambitions.  No matter who wins the White House in November, the borders are going bye-bye next year.

But by loping to his left on illegal immigration, Obama is, if not neutralizing, than at least minimizing the huge wedge this issue is between McCain and the estranged Republican base.  Paired with his other accidental honesties of recent vintage, it's almost as if Lucifer is the hare, long-since bored with a race so lopsidedly uncompetitive and dashing back to toy tauntingly with Maverick the tortoise by making him think he still has a chance.

In the story the hare's overconfidence ends up costing him in the end.  As El salvador's cogida para arriba continue to pile up, this parable is becoming a bigger and bigger dark horse campaign 2008 metaphor.
