Predictable Horse[bleep] With The Same Old Theme
J-Ger paraphrases Senator Rogaine's acceptance speech:
America has never had it worse, never mind the "malaise" and hostage crisis of the Carter years, the chaos of the late 60s, the Great Depression, the Civil War... an increase in the median income, an unchanged, and a drop in the uninsured in the past year are additional signs of impending irreversible catastrophe.
George W. Bush and John McCain are the same.
We have no allies anymore. Only electing Obama will make the world love us again.
The Surge didn't happen. Iraq is endless chaos. Obama's sixteen-month withdrawal plan will fix everything.
Community organizing on the South Side is perfect training to be president. A nuclear weapons bill that passed by unanimous consent is the major legislative accomplishment of our time.
Imagine the kind of honorless, soulless yIngtagh it requires for a man to be as intelligent as Biden claims and still effortlessly spout this deranged, lunatic doggerell. Even if his IQ isn't as stratospheric as he thinks it is (a highly likely possiblity), it still gives a whole new dimension to the term "irresponsible". "Certifiable" too, come to think of it. I guess Slow Joe lucked out at the timing of this piece of "catastrophic" economic news.
Not so much on his brigades-for-battalions gaffe, belched forth in the midst of The Two's attempt at arguing for The One's superior military "judgment". It makes you wonder what Democrats can possibly be thinking by offering such a laughably extremist face to the nation, at least until you remember that they did the same thing in the 2006 election cycle (as in 2004 and 2002 and 2000...) and yet finally won Congress back. A phenomenon that, in a just world, would receive the "stopped clock right twice a day" metaphor for which it is fairly bellowing.
And which has got to be having John Kerry cursing his abysmal luck for running four years too early.
UPDATE: So much for the Dems convincing the electorate that Obama can "secure America" better than Darth Queeg:
"I'm John McCain, and I approve Barack Obama's message."
