Rare indeed it is that I utilize Barry's nomenclature, but rest assured, the substance, er, substantially varies.

Hope that's not too "disrespectful":

Correct me if my memory is faulty, but has Governor Palin ever - ONCE - whined about the barrage of hate and smears and villification hurled at her by the Left?  In her convention acceptance speech she didn't play the victim, but stood firm and heaved it all back at them with a smile and a wink, in the classic Reagan tradition.  She gave much better than she got.  That's a big part of why the GOP base has fallen in love with her.

So why is Team Sith playing the white knight like she's some kind of damsel in distress?  Hasn't Slimeicane Sarah backfired hugely on Team Hussein?  Does the other side really need to be goaded into continuing the assault?  And do the McCainiacs not realize that they are, in essence, channeling the Hillaryist hypocrisy that claims, in this case, that Barracuda can dish it out all she wants but the Dems are barred from going after her because "you have to be nice to the girl"?

The Left has incurable Palin Derangement Syndrome.  We get it, Maverick.  Just stand back and let them continue to dig their own graves.  It's not like we need finger-wagging play-by-play commentary.  And neither does your tough-as-Alaska running mate.
