In the mind of The One, it is evidently "for me, and not for thee." Just ask NRO's Stanley Kurtz, or the latest of his colleagues to face the organized and malicious thuggery of False Messiah's disciples:

Chicago radio station WGN-AM is again coming under attack from the presidential campaign of Senator Barack Obama for offering airtime to a controversial author.

It is the second time in recent weeks the station has been the target of an “Obama Action Wire” alert to supporters of the Illinois Democrat. …

The Tribune-owned station was flooded with calls and e-mails about an hour before an August 27 interview with Stanley Kurtz, a conservative writer who examined Obama’s ties to former 1960s radical William Ayers.

A WGN producer said Monday night’s response was about the same as when Kurtz was on the station.

This "controversial" author is NRO's David Freddoso whose well-researched and devastating investigatory tome, The Case Against Barack Obama, is "controversial" only in the sense that he exposes the vile underbelly of indolence and radicalism that BO would prefer to keep hidden.

To which, chortlingly, the reflexively hostile overreaction of Team Hussein draws that much more attention:

The author of the latest anti-Barack hit book is appearing on WGN Radio in the Chicagoland market tonight, and your help is urgently needed to make sure his baseless lies don’t gain credibility.

David Freddoso has made a career off dishonest, extreme hate mongering, even calling legislation to protect people from hate crimes the “Thought Police.”

And WGN apparently thinks this card-carrying member of the right-wing smear machine needs a bigger platform for his lies and smears about Barack Obama — on the public airwaves.

Freddoso will be on WGN tonight from 9:00 to 11:00 to promote his new attack book against Barack. Tell WGN that by providing Freddoso with airtime, they are legitimizing baseless attacks from a smear merchant and lowering the standards of political discourse.

Obama Action Wire [emphases added]

"Dishonest, extreme hatemonger," "card-carrying member of the right-wing smear machine," "smear merchant," or ACTUAL JOURNALIST DOING HIS ACTUAL JOB in filling in the full picture of candidate Barack Obama so that the electorate can make a maximally informed choice on Election Day? That appears to be precisely what Lucifer doesn't want, and anybody - and I mean ANYBODY - who deviates from the officially sanctioned messianic hype imagery becomes a target for character assassination, public shouting down and silencing, and perhaps worse, AT BARACK OBAMA's PERSONAL DIRECTION.

This is an example of his vaunted "judgment" as a candidate; what would he do to dissenters with the powers of the presidency? Reimposition of the so-called "Fairness Doctrine" would seem to be just the beginning of the Barackian reign of terror. Or so I am forced to conclude from the reaction of his campaign to a request from talk radio host Brad Jones of KCOL to provide programming balance:

Host Brad Jones speaks with Bill Riggs, spokesman for the RNC, about Governor Palin’s visit to Colorado and he states her talks today will discuss “her record of reform and shaking things up in Alaska” and “she’s going to be citing actual results.” However, after trying to reach the Obama Colorado Press line all morning long and not having any of his calls returned, at the end of the final hour of the morning show, Brad calls them on air.

First they put Brad on hold. And then they hung up on him. Jennifer from the Obama Camp quickly called KCOL back and was unwilling to discuss Obama’s message to Colorado on the air. She stated “unfortunately we weren’t able to locate any of our surrogates today with Senator Obama being here in Grand Junction and in Pueblo” and she apologized that she wasn’t able to provide someone to speak on the air this morning. When Brad asked her if the Obama Camp planned to let KCOL know that they didn’t have an available spokesman today, you guessed it, she hung up on him. Again.

Let's tally this up: Obamanation wishes to bully, threaten, and intimidate its critics into silence when they seek to exercise their First Amendment rights; but when its critics reach out to them to "start a dialogue," and put the "Fairness Doctrine" into practice, the reaction is a contemptuous not-all-that-metaphorical double-bird-flipping.

It seems that Americans who don't swill the Kool-Aid will have no place in Barack Obama's Amerikca. Other than to be strapped to lampposts or put in iron maidens and be forcibly browbeaten as "racists" by henchpeople like Kathleen Sebelius:

Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius accused Republicans on Tuesday of injecting race into the presidential campaign, arguing that they are using “code language” to convince Midwesterners that Democrat Barack Obama is different from them.

“Have any of you noticed that Barack Obama is part African-American?” Sebelius asked with sarcasm. “(Republicans) are not going to go lightly into the darkness.”

Sebelius was responding to a question from the audience at the Iowa City Public Library about the tenacity of Democrats and whether they would fight for victory as hard as Republicans in the closing weeks of the election.

She did not elaborate on her comment.

I don't wonder, given that (1) she can't back it up and (2) in her mind and those of all of the Chicago Cherubim's disciples, no back-up is necessary. It's a cardinal doctrine of the hard-left faith that their enemies are the epitome of greed, hate, racism, sexism, homophobia, primitivism, and all around putrescence, not worthy of the constitutional liberties and civil accord to which only liberals, those little slices of purest righteousness, are morally entitled, but only the villification (for now) and oppression their backwards dissidence has earned them.

The only "unapologetic smear artists" I see in this picture are Barack Obama, his mind-numbed acolytes, and the civic pestulence they will unleash on the American body politic if bestowed the power they seek.

Glad I got that off my chest. Who knows how much longer we'll be allowed to?
