The One Eats Number Two

I think we can safely conclude that the pattern of Barack Hussein Obama's brittle ego being unable to tolerate the rough & tumble challenges and criticism of a national presidential campaign is a....well, pattern.  It sure as hell isn't a fluke, judging by the raging, whining, bitching, moaning temper tantrum Team Hussein threw, from Light-Bringer on down to the lowliest money-changer.

It began, as everything from that shop evidently does anymore, with their text-message artillery:

Let’s step through a few of the passages from David Plouffe:

I wasn’t planning on sending you something tonight. But if you saw what I saw from the Republican convention, you know that it demands a response.

In other words, the Obama campaign will fall into the trap of having the top of its ticket get into a debate with the bottom of the GOP ticket.

I saw John McCain’s attack squad of negative, cynical politicians. They lied about Barack Obama and Joe Biden, and they attacked you for being a part of this campaign.

In other words … Mom!  Mom!  Sister hit me back!  After constantly referring to the governor as the “mayor of Wasilly“, Obama has no room to talk about negative and cynical.

Both Rudy Giuliani and Sarah Palin specifically mocked Barack’s experience as a community organizer on the South Side of Chicago more than two decades ago, where he worked with people who had lost jobs and been left behind when the local steel plants closed. …

Community organizing is how ordinary people respond to out-of-touch politicians and their failed policies.

In other words, it's left-wing political "activism."  Which, in The Golden Child's case, was heavy on ACORN-related voter fraud operations and other political racketeering for the Chicago Donk machine.  A background that would merely be reprehensible, but became risible the instant Barry tried to cite it as a centerpiece justification for his election to the most powerful office in the world:

Let me clarify something. Nobody is mocking community organizers in church basements and community centers across the country working to improve their neighbors’ lives. What deserves ridicule is the notion that Obama’s brief stint as a South Side rabble-rouser for tax-subsidized, partisan nonprofits qualifies as executive experience you can believe in.

What deserves derision is “community organizing” that relies on a community of homeless people and ex-cons to organize for the purpose of registering dead people to vote, shaking down corporations, and using the race card as a bludgeon.

The latter of which, by the by, His Eminence did to Darth Queeg yet again yesterday.  But not in a negative, cynical, attacking way, of course.  He is The One, and above such dirty, worldly sniping.  And besides, the old bastard deserved it for siccing that moose-killer on him.

On the other hand, if one vice presidential acceptance speech from the mayor of "Wasilly" is BO's version of the messianic temptations, it would seem he really is off to a slow start:

Okay, he wasn't just a Chicago leftie rabble-rouser who talked a good game but never accomplished bleep; he was also a shyster, a wonk, a state legislator of French courage and Ferengi integrity, and marked time on Capitol Hill for two years before embarking on his inevitable run for the presidency.  Yeah, that's "resume-padding" alright.

And we're to understand that he wants Governor Palin to go down that laundry list in the same spirit as she tarred & feathered his "community organizing"?  Does he ever think before he speaks?

Yes, yes, I know - another rhetorical question:

Senator Barack Obama ditched his normal languid cool today, punching back at Governor Sarah Palin as he spoke with reporters in York, Pennsylvania, hotly defending his work as a community organizer. He said he assumes Palin “wants to be treated same way guys want to be treated, which means their records are under scrutinty. I’ve been through this for nineteen months. She’s been through it, what four days?”

No, Your Majesty, she's been through "it" for seven days, if "it" is defined as being smeared as corrupt, tyrannical, a liar, a hypocrite, a slut, a begatter of sluts, a "Christianist," a holy roller, and an adultress and home-wrecker.  You're still sending your proxies out to sexistly patronize her and bulldoze McCain into dumping Barracuda from his ticket, and your propaganda arm is descending on her hometown on smear recon like a swarm of rabid locusts.  Whereas the only thing you've "been through" mediawise is the entire Enemy Media establishment lining up to, shall we say, drop to their knees but not to pray, and take turns humping your leg until Chris Matthews' explodes.  It's like the old joke about why the ground at Little Big Horn was all white after Custer's last stand - because the Indians kept coming and coming and coming....

Seems an awful lot of fuss over the Elle Woods of the Last Frontier.

Unless your allies have been villifying Governor Palin because she is your nemesis, the ying for your yang.  She is of your age demographic, also not "another boring white guy," but with a life and political career of as much substance and accomplishment as yours is empty rhetoric and hype.  She genuinely inspires because she doesn't have to, as you accused her of in another presser, "make stuff up."  She's actually HAD community responsibilities.  She's actually been ACCOUNTIBLE to a local, and then state, electorate AS A CHIEF EXECUTIVE.  She's actually GOTTEN "STUFF" DONE - REFORM "stuff."  You can't honestly lay claim to ANY of that.

And yet he keeps trying, because he knows not what else to do:

Obama then went point by point through education, tax policy, energy policy and health care telling voters why McCain’s version of change is not change like the kind he will bring.

Obama then opened up rare criticism on VP nominee Sarah Palin, “I know the governor of Alaska has been, you know, saying she is change. And that is great. She is a skillful politician. But when you been [sic] taking all these earmarks when it is convenient and then suddenly you are the champion anti-earmark person. That is not change, come on. I mean, words mean something. You can’t just make stuff up. You can’t just make stuff up. We have a choice to make and the choice is clear.”

Says the paragon of clean politics that tried to snarf up three quarters of a billion dollars in earmarks in his half-and-change Senate term, including nice dollops for his buddies, bagmen, and Scheherazade's employer.  I guess Barry was right - you really can't make this stuff up.

Leave it to - what's his name again? You know, the old duffer that keeps tagging along to all of Barracuda's SRO rallies - to offer up a couple of reminders for the woefully confused youngster:

Barack Obama has requested the equivalent of one million dollars in new pork barrel spending for every working day he’s been in the U.S Senate, while John McCain has never once asked for an earmark, and Governor Palin has vetoed hundreds of millions in government spending including killing the infamous “bridge to nowhere”. Just like so many other issues Barack Obama is all talk, has no record to back it up and isn’t ready to make change.

Yeah, McCain, that's who I was thinking of.  Remember him, Barry?  Your opponent?  The [AHEM] "champion earmark person"?  An appellation that most certainly does NOT describe you.

The delighfully surnamed David Plouffe concluded the aforementioned text political SOS thusly:

It’s now clear that John McCain’s campaign has decided that desperate lies and personal attacks — on Barack Obama and on you — are the only way they can earn a third term for the Bush policies that McCain has supported more than 90% of the time.

Ensign Ed couldn't help but notice that this "instant response," like everything else that comes out of Team Hussein, had no substantive, factual backup.  "Lies and personal attacks" thus are not informative terms, but merely whiney, venting code for "You've nailed us and we can't refute it, so we're going to keep hypocritically attacking you anyway in the hope that the American people will elect The One just to shut us up."  Thus, the greatest BO-pocrisy of all: the only place the "post-partisan unifier from on High" can go to win this election is straight down to the bowels of hell.

The Chosen One is right about one thing: one ticket in this race indeed "doesn't get it," hasn't for the past three months, and exhibits no sign that it's going to in the remaining two.  Will he be able to "get over" getting schooled by an old white cracker and a "bimbo" in hunting boots?

Now THAT would be an entertaining "celebreality" show.
