"Almost Classic Marxism"

Barack "Red Barry" Obama on wealth redistribution and the "tragic constraints" of the United States Constitution:

Looks like that was no "poor choice of words" on Comrade Barry's part to Joe The Plumber.  Stealing all of yours and all of mine and all of everybody else's and doling it out as he sees fit - aka "economic justice" or "spreading the wealth" - is precisely what he believes in, and that is indeed the precise definition of Marxism.  He doesn't just aim to tax us to death, to take everything we have away from us; he wants to own US as well.

Some of us sardonically joke about this being the last American election, after which the Democrats will simply suspend the Constitution (officially, rather than piecemeal) and cancel future elections.  In light of the above, such scenarios move away from satire and at least nominally into the realm of horrifying plausibility.  This isn't something that one of his radical mentors said; this wasn't a Jeremiah Wright sermon or a Bill Ayers Weathermen manifesto from decades in the past; this was Barack Obama HIMSELF decrying the Warren Court just seven years ago for being insufficiently oligarchist by not instigating a communist coup de tat.  After he confirmed this pinko tic to Joe The Plumber, is there anybody who still believes that Comrade Barry doesn't aim to "fix" that little "problem" once he seizes the presidency, and that the Donk congressional supermajorities won't help him do it?

Team Messiah must be concerned that voters will draw that very conclusion judging by Senator Rogaine's meltdown during a local Florida TV interview:

Notice how Biden had no answer other than bald-faced, binary "No he didn't!" denial.  Words mean things, and Obama's religious dedication to the central tenets of orthodox Marxism in this PBS interview is unequivocal.  They've got to be hoping that those words won't sink into the electorate's collective consciousness until it's too late.

Kudos and high-fives to Barbara West and her producer for actually questioning Slow Joe on this.  I'm actually astonished and dumbfounded that any journo would be willing to do so and risk not just professional oblivion but perhaps political incarceration should The One win next Tuesday as "expected".  She's definitely put a bullseye on herself and WFTV.

As have I, I suppose, by posting the clip here, and Ensign Ed for posting the original 2001 Obama wealth-redistributing audio, and Beldar, for drawing the entirely correct conclusion:

This entire broadcast is entirely consistent with my worst fears about Obama. He understands precisely how to advance a hard-line liberal agenda in each brach of government. Redistribution of wealth is something best suited to a hard-left president and Congress to accomplish, working hand-in-glove. And for the giant leaps — the things which not even a left-of-center executive and legislature can accomplish — the president gets to appoint activist judges.

The reason for conservatives and moderates to be concerned about Barack Obama is not simply that he's a hard-left liberal — it's that he's an ambitious and talented hard-left liberal. He's seen where the Warren Court fell short. Barack Obama is now literally only days away from, in his words from this radio program, possibly "put[ting] together the actual coalitions of power through which you bring about redistributive change." Of that, we ought to all be duly terrified.

Are Americans really going to elect the American Chavez?  Do a majority of us really want to see America degenerated into a gargantuan Sweden?  Do they even realize what's at stake?  Is this really going to happen?

UPDATE: FDR called Barry's "wealth-sharing" a "second Bill of Rights".  But there's always a demonic flip-side to left-wing utopian promises:

You owe your life -- and everything else -- to the sovereign. The rights of subjects are not natural rights, but merely grants from the sovereign. There is no right even to complain about the actions of the sovereign, except insofar as the sovereign allows the subject to complain. These are the principles of unlimited, arbitrary, and absolute power, the principles of such rulers as Louis XIV.

And Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Castro, Chavez, FDR (who, come to think of it, was America's only true President-For-Life)....and Barack Obama.

Isn't it....telling how Speakerette Pelosi is going out of her way to reassure Americans that they have "nothing to fear" from a de facto communist takeover?  If an Obama/Pelosi/Reid Axis of Evil is so benign - and so inevitable - why would she feel the need to say such a thing?
