Government Needs A Veto

The first minute-fifty of this McCain web ad is extraneous pork-bashing; the last thirty seconds hits EXACTLY the message the electorate needs to heed:

This McCain radio ad puts it far more bluntly:

Maverick wouldn't have the Congress to lower anybody's taxes, and would barely have enough votes to have his veto of Democrat tax increases sustained. But a continued Republican obstacle to total Donk power is the only thing standing in the way of economic and civic collapse and war in our own country beyond our capacity to imagine or fight.

It is beyond reason, beyond my capacity to imagine, how the party that has become so extreme, so irresponsible, so treasonous, so corrupt, outright criminal, and has been PROVEN time and again for DECADES to be WRONG on every issue facing the American people, is about to be entrusted with total power over the United States of America yet AGAIN. Even the public relations cluelessness of the outgoing Bush Administration and our nomination of the biggest RINO in in the GOP as our standardbearer doesn't explain it. Calamities are going to befall this country in the next few years that will shock and outrage many of the same people who are casting their ballots for the very ticket and party that are already pledging to cause them. But by then it'll be far, far too late. And what will they say to those of us who warned them of the folly of what they were voting for but stuck their fingers in their ears to avoid hearing us? All I can say is, any such who contemplate delivering a mea culpa to me would be better off leaving that particular question unanswered.

The one silver lining for those wayward, misguided individuals is that it's not too late to save the country from the red tsunami rumbling toward it, and them, and me. Take your fingers out of your ears and flip your middle ones at the man who wants to use all of us as his personal Kleenex.....
