RINO Schwartzenegger Wants To Thwart The Will Of The People

This jerk who dares call himself a Republican is now hoping the California Supreme Court will overturn Proposition 8, which the voters in California passed and bans gay marriage.

Reporting from Sacramento and Pasadena — Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger today expressed hope that the California Supreme Court would overturn Proposition 8, the ballot initiative that outlawed same-sex marriage. He also predicted that the 18,000 gay and lesbian couples who have already married would not be affected by the initiative.

“It’s unfortunate, obviously, but it’s not the end,” Schwarzenegger said in an interview on CNN this morning. “I think that we will again maybe undo that, if the court is willing to do that, and then move forward from there and again lead in that area.”

Can you believe this? This is the kind of stuff liberals do...they use the courts to forward an agenda that they can't win at the ballot box. And RINOs like Arnold Schwartzenegger do the same thing. He should just be honest and switch parties. The people of California have spoken. Now he wants to flip them the bird and legalize gay marriage anyway. Wow...we *are* in trouble.

JASmius adds: Especially as Proposition 8 was the people's response to the SCOC's previous judicial imperialism striking down the people's previous banning of sodomarriage.  At some point, doesn't the lavender lobby have to concede that the people of California (and America) simply do not want the institution of marriage irrevocably buggered, or just come right out and admit that they're a bunch of deviant fascists who don't believe democracy - or "da vill of da peeepul" - should get in the way of them forcing their beliefs on everybody else?

If as "blue" a state as Gollyfornia won't stand for it, doesn't that settle the question?
