The Cure For Constipation

The federal stimulus package would raise the government’s commitment to solving the economic crisis to an astronomical $9.7 trillion — enough to pay off more than 90% of the nation’s home mortgages.

The commitment is composed of about $1 billion in stimulus packages, about $3 trillion in lending and spending, and $5.7 trillion in agreements to provide aid, the New York Post reported....

Senator Byron Dorgan, a North Dakota Democrat, said on the Senate floor last week: “We’ve seen money go out the back door of this government unlike any time in the history of our country.” [emphasis added]

That's more than three times last year's entire federal budget.  Two-thirds of last year's entire U.S. GDP.  And ultimately, it's got to come - via taxes, credit, or debased currency - from the very besieged, and ever-shrinking, private sector that is the Dems' phony animating pretext.

This isn't about "averting a catastrophe"; this isn't about "getting the economy moving again".  This is about destroying economic freedom and political liberty in this country so swiftly and thoroughly that it will literally take an armed revolution to get rid of these people.

90% of the nations home mortgages.  Ask yourself this question: Would you want Barack Obama to be the owner of your mortgage?  Might he and his party have a wee bit 'o leverage over your "vote" if he did?
