The Sky Is Falling!

Obama's new nickname should be Chicken Little. If we don't adopt the Savior's plan, the nation is gonna go to hell! So much for wanting to "change" the "politics of fear." That's how Democrats get their way...they convince gullible, uninformed Americans that there's a crisis, then come up with a plan to fix it. Of course, that plan ALWAYS results in more money out of our pockets and more IN theirs.

Unfortunately, most of the time it works...and God help us from "Republicans" who come up with an alternative plan that is as bad or worse than what the Democrats come up with. Thanks, guys, for giving the Democrats some "bipartisan" cover.

JASmius adds: Also, the Donk plan always makes things worse - so that they can come up with ANOTHER plan to fix THAT.  And so on, and so on, and so on.  Wasn't it just three weeks ago that King Hussein said in his immaculation address that he was going to replace the poltics of fear with the politics of hope?  And that he was going to usher in a "post-partisan" era?  Now it's going to take a secret police apparatus to stamp out opposition, apparently, since we won't just put on our chains willingly.

As I was closing up shop last night, a friend of mine told me his wife - who is culturally conservative but doesn't follow politics much - had Red Barry's presser on, and had just told him, and I quote, "Oh....my....God.  This guy sounds like a teenager who isn't getting the car keys for his big date.  It's all fear and fingerpointing.  We are in SO much trouble."

In a word, he was anything but presidential.  And that was AFTER the Senate passed Hogzilla with sixty-one votes in favor, even as sixty-three percent of Americans are nominally to vehemently opposed.

I just chuckled.  Everything that has transpired since the Little President got sworn in is what we were all warning about for the past year and a half.  But nobody wanted to listen.  People voted with their hearts, not their brains.  And that just works out SO well when it happens.

There's just one problem for False Messiah now: after shrieking apocalyptically about needing to pass Hogzilla or die, when it becomes law, this economy, whether he realizes it or not, becomes his, lock, stock, and pink slips.  And if it isn't any better when a year from next November rolls around....let's just say there'll be some rapid political climate change that he's not going to like very much.
