Messiah Bows Down To The King

That's the story, anyway:

In what's been called a "shocking display of fealty to a foreign potentate," President Barack Obama bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia at the Group of Twenty summit meeting in London.

"The bow was an extraordinary protocol violation," the Washington Times observed in an editorial on Tuesday.

"Such an act is a traditional obeisance befitting a king's subjects, not his peer. There is no precedent for U.S. presidents bowing to Saudi or any other royals," the editorial said....

"No Americans of any station are required to bow to royalty," the Times stated. "It is one of the pillars of American exceptionalism that our country rejected traditional caste divisions."

The Times editorial also opined that Obama’s bow "to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques does not help his image with those who believe he is secretly a Muslim, and why he chose to bow only to the Saudi king and not to any other royal remains unexplained."

For instance, Obama did not bow to Queen Elizabeth when he first met her last week in London.

Once again, I find myself in the position of shrugging cynically and asking, "What the hell else did anybody expect?"  You people elected this piece of extremist-programmed, empty-headed filth; this kind of toadying, nation-debasing outrage is precisely the kind of misconduct in which those of us who refuse to take the Kool-Aid even introveniously said he would engage once he was sworn in (and at) as president and no longer had to put on the BS airs to keep the unwashed masses mesmerized.

You wanted "hopeandchange"?  THIS is what it means: treating Queen Elizabeth II as "just another one of the guys," complete with I-Pod she could have had an underling order online for her if septuagenarian constitutional monarchs did things like play with early twenty-first century gadgets beneath the station of even her grandchildren in any case; while subordinating his own station, power, and national prestige, whether a gesture of hidden Muslim fealty or simply good dhimmihood, to some grease-ridden, jihadi-subsidizing, Islamism-promulgating plutocrat that one would think would embody everything Barack Obama exists to eradicate from the face of the planet.  Because, I'm presuming, King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud is seen by King Hussein bin Obama Tele Abdul Al Prompter as a more politically saleable Islamic ruler to which to surrender the country than, say, Emir of Afghanistan and Pakistan Osama bin Laden Al Qaeda.

Or, put more concisely, Elizabeth II (and the "arrogant hyperpower" her country spawned) is the past; Abdullah (and bin Laden and the Ayatollahs) is the future.

In an age of youtube, cell phone digital cameras, and Twitter, you wouldn't think that the supposed best utilizers of American youth and the cutting-edge technology and the social organization it makes possible would be capable of the degree of obtuse stupidity necessary to try and orwellianize The Bow into vehement public relations non-existence.  Unless he's going to come out and simply order the mass arrest and executions of his political enemies, our continued residence in the fabric of mainstream American society guarantees that we can use the aforementioned tech against Red Barry's interests by making the truth of his outrages, anti-Jesusland disses, and turd-a-minute gaffery as widely and loudly disseminated as possible.

And yet....

Barack Obama's White House says the president did not bow to the Saudi King when they met during the recent G-20 meeting in London.

If you think he did, you're just believing your lying eyes.

So reports Politico's Ben Smith Wednesday.

"It wasn't a bow. He grasped his hand with two hands, and he's taller than King Abdullah," an anonymous Obama aide told Politico.

And perhaps King Abdullah grabbed both of Barry's hands and lunged backward in order to incapacitate him with a front facelock?

You be the judge:

If that was "bending over to grasp Abdullah's hand," I'm Pattertwig's nut-gatherer.

If anything, B.O. didn't just bow to Abdullah, but kissed his diamond-encrusted rings as well.

It's telling that an action that, had any Republican, much less George W. Bush, done it, would have garnered screaming front page headlines that this was "proof" of the Bush family's "slavish obeisance" to Saudi "Big Oil" interests, got zero, zilch, nada, null, NO Obamedia coverage what-so-niggardly-ever.  It's also a sign of these dark, twisted times that the only solace to be had from it is that the Li'l President didn't grab a prayer rug and completely prostrate himself, and throw in a little tongue for good measure.
