 As if the liberal media monopoly wasn't already powerful enough, the Obama Administration is now looking to silence conservative talk radio in such a deceptive way that even the Fairness Doctrine doesn't look so bad anymore.
Rush Limbaugh, Mark Levin, Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, and all of our conservative hosts will soon take orders from the White House if Barack Obama has his way. Here's how:
Barack Obama has ordered his FCC Chairman to create its first "Diversity Committee." This so-called "Diversity Committee"—which is made up of a diverse crowd of left-wing radicals and politically correct liberal trouble makers—will now be given federal authority to determine who can own a radio station and what voices can be heard.
The Obama censorship plan will give our enemies the unilateral authority to make talk radio as diverse as MSNBC television's Keith Olbermann, Chris Matthews, and Rachel Maddow lineup. This is not the America that we know, and not the country that the Founding Founders envisioned when they wrote the First Amendment!
Many have continued to call Barack Obama a Socialist for taking over the banks, the auto makers, the housing market, and just about every other economic entity he wishes.
It is not surprising that the Obama Administration is taking its socialist propaganda tactics to the airwaves and talk radio by allowing the government to decide who can own a station and which hosts they can hire. If they control the economy and media, what is left for the people?
When Obama shook hands with Hugo Chavez was he getting pointers on how to control the media?
Let's not wait to find out. This is censorship, plain and simple, and we're not going to let it happen.
