Miranda Rights For Terrorists?!?!

When 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammad was captured on March 1, 2003, he was not cooperative. “I’ll talk to you guys after I get to New York and see my lawyer,” he said, according to former CIA Director George Tenet.

Of course, KSM did not get a lawyer until months later, after his interrogation was completed, and Tenet says that the information the CIA obtained from him disrupted plots and saved lives. “I believe none of these successes would have happened if we had had to treat KSM like a white-collar criminal – read him his Miranda rights and get him a lawyer who surely would have insisted that his client simply shut up,” Tenet wrote in his memoirs.

If Tenet is right, it’s a good thing KSM was captured before Barack Obama became president. For, the Obama Justice Department has quietly ordered FBI agents to read Miranda rights to high value detainees captured and held at U.S. detention facilities in Afghanistan, according a senior Republican on the House Intelligence Committee. “The administration has decided to change the focus to law enforcement. Here’s the problem. You have foreign fighters who are targeting US troops today – foreign fighters who go to another country to kill Americans. We capture them…and they’re reading them their rights – Mirandizing these foreign fighters,” says Representative Mike Rogers, who recently met with military, intelligence and law enforcement officials on a fact-finding trip to Afghanistan.

Now why do ya think the Obamunist Injustice Department wanted to keep this seismic paradigm shift-back to the law enforcement mindset that fueled al Qaeda's buildup to the 9/11 attacks quiet, hmm?  Including from Congress:

Rogers, a former FBI special agent and U.S. Army officer, says the Obama administration has not briefed Congress on the new policy. “I was a little surprised to find it taking place when I showed up because we hadn’t been briefed on it, I didn’t know about it. We’re still trying to get to the bottom of it, but it is clearly a part of this new global justice initiative.”

Perhaps because the Republicans would add the biggest retreat yet in the former War Against Islamic Fundamentalism to the growing pile of wildly unpopular Obama radicalisms - from exploding debt to percolating hyperinflation to nationalizing the banking, automotive, and now health care industries to card check to ACORN democracy subversion to galloping Donk corruption to shamnesty to cap & trade and other erupting tax larcenies and his crude, relentless, totalitarianistic lying about every blasted last one of them - and keep whacking away at his eroding veneer of popularity as his congressional counterparts' credibility has already cratered.

I take great glee in pointing out once again just who it was that called this, um, spade a spade nine months ago as she has so many others.

Matt Margolis calls Red Barry a "liar" and "unfit for office".  Both are certainly true, but to understand the terrible peril we're in, we have to realize that the 43rd-and-a-half president isn't just a liar and unfit for office, or even an unprecedented disaster who gives the lie to Richard Nixon's maxim that no president can ruin the country in just four years.  Barack Obama is the most dangerous enemy America has ever faced.  More dangerous than the Islamists, more dangerous than the old Soviet Union, more dangerous than the German Nazis and Japanese militarists.  Why?  Because none of those foes ever managed to infiltrate our country and put one of their agents in the White House as president to do their bidding in systematically laying waste to American interests, economic vitality, and military strength.  In Barack Obama sixty-eight million Americans managed to do it to us from the inside. 

If a pollster had asked the ChiComms and Vladimir Putin and Hugo Chavez and Osama bin Laden and Kim jong-Il and Bashir Assad and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and every other American enemy what they would like to see in the next American president - from character to personality to ideology - can you imagine that they would have come up with anybody who fit that role better than B.O.?

False Messiah holds the office of president of the United States.  But it is the beliefs, ideology, and agenda of our enemies that he is, in practice, preserving, protecting, and defending.  And before it's over, uncounted thousands of Americans are going to die because of it.
