EBC Missionaries Of The Week: Stephen & Ginger Jordan

The (younger) Jordans serve among the Agutaynen people on Palawan in the Philippines under the auspices of New Tribes Mission.  They're involved in linguistics and etymology and building relationships with the nationals.

During 2007, Stephen put his linguistics and etymology studies on hold to help their partner, Manfred, work on hermanuetics.  Manfred is ready to teach.  However, while on a short furlough, it was Manfred's wife was diagnosed with cancer.  This will delay their return until 2009, and also means the hermanuetical project will also lie fallow.

In the mean time, Stephen is focusing once again on learning the Agutaynen language.
