Are we paying attention, indeed.  For all those who, throughout the course of my lifetime, believed that totalitarian dictatorship couldn't happen here, verily, verily, I say unto you: This is just the beginning of sorrows, the pebbles preceding the avalanche.  The long national nightmare into which sixty-eight million numbnuts plunged our country last November will get much, much worse before it ever gets better.

But, though like any normal person who thought this was still America before Red Barry's union storm troopers "educated" him, he never sought out this particular role, the cause of the American underground has been bequeathed a pretty good (blessedly living) martyr:

Jim Treacher delivers the money shot: "If [Ken] Gladney was an Obama supporter, right now he’d be more famous than Rodney King."  But since he's more American than African, the Left considers him a jigaboo turncoat who deserves what he got.  Good thing the cops got to that street corner when they did, or they might have found Mr. Gladney dangling from a tree limb instead.

But it's False Messiah's health care opponents who are the racist, Nazi mobs.

A vicious canard that Captain Comedy himself, Representative Russ Carnahan (O-MO) - outside of whose town hall meeting the St. Louis Kristallnacht unfolded - was dutifully regurgitating when a local talk radio journalist showed how easily a watchdog media could backhand such petty verbal terrorism:

Behold how Carnahan's recollection of recent events "evolves" by the seat of its pants - though only halfway, as he was only willing to acknowledge the union thuggery as a "contributing factor" to the previous evening's violent festivities.  And maybe you can't blame him; after all, if BarryCare opponents hadn't shown up to exercise their constitutional rights to free speech and free assembly in opposition to the Hussein administration's determination to nationalize (assimilate?) the bodies of every American, and serve unwittingly as SEIU's punching bags, why, there never would have been a "riot" at all, would there?

Compare that act of journalism with the following act of partisan hackery on a so-called cable "news" channel:

This is what is known in the biz as a "Fuck you" interview.  Or at least it is on Menshevik National Socialist Barack Company (yeah, that slightly mixes up the acronymn, but somehow it reads better my way).  Really, my bafflement isn't with that asshole O'Donnell, but his supposed "guest".  Mr. Schiff had long predicted the burst of the real estate bubble because he knew its REAL causes (i.e. the Democrat Financial Logic Bomb).  That alone would have fitted him for a bullseye on his chest, even without his running for the Senate against one of the DFLB's architects.  So why did Schiff take the interview?  Does ANYbody watch that left wingnut Rocky Horror Picture Show channel?  At least that would be the slightest bit open-minded enough to be willing to listen to what he had to say, if that asshole O'Donnell had let him get a word in edgewise?

It's a pity Mr. Schiff couldn't have channeled his inner Robert Novak, if just for a few seconds.  Probably the only language an MSNBCer would understand.
