Because Just Murdering Babies Isn't Enough
After the vicous slander heaped upon the entire pro-life movement over the years whenever an abortion was attacked and/or killed by some lunatic - the most recent instance being the slaying of infamous baby-killer George Tiller - I defy anybody, including Ensign Ed, to make a convincing case why that same gambit isn't sauce for the gander as well. Particularly since today, the shoe really is on the other foot:
The Michigan State Police say an anti-abortion activist has been shot and killed in front of Owosso High School.
The Flint Journal reports the shooting took place around 7:30 a.m. today, and a suspect was taken into custody about forty-five minutes later at the suspect’s home.
The victim’s identity has not yet been released.
LifeNews has more details:
The shooting did not take place on school property but officials have locked down the school and taped off most of the front portions of the school grounds.
According to the Associated Press, in the spot where the protester stood, a black car is parked and a portable oxygen tank is lying next to a sign with a picture of an unborn child and the words life.
NBC 25 is reporting that interim school superintendent, Susan Wooden says the person is a well-known local pro-life advocate — a man who frequently stands in high traffic areas with the sign to protest abortion.
Translation: He had it coming. Right?
Harlan Drake of Owosso, near Lansing, was arraigned on two counts of first-degree murder and other gun-related crimes. Prosecutors said Drake also had planned to kill a third, unidentified person. …
Drake was arrested at home about an hour later. Police said he stated he had also shot Fuoss.
“The indication is that he had ill will … a grudge against these three individuals,” said Shiawassee County Prosecutor Randy Colbry. “The defendant was offended by the manner of Mr. Pouillon’s message.”
So, let's add this up: a pro-choicer was going on a killing spree against pro-lifers BECAUSE they were pro-life. What more do we need to paint the entire abortion movement with the Harlan Drake brush?
Is Drake a "lunatic"? Sure; but then so is every last member of a movement that can justify mass infanticide in the tens of millions. Surely the logic of the death cult is far more in line with gunning down those who believe in protecting the life of the innocent at both ends of the life cycle than is the reverse. There no evidence (yet) that Drake was acting on orders from Planned Parenthood (domestic terrorists!). But abortofiles have created (hee hee!) the "atmosphere of hate" - derived in VERY large part from their past outrageous smears of the pro-life movement for the violent actions of the unrelated - that was an unquestionable influence in inspiring Drake to pull the trigger (repeatedly). Ipso facto, the entire abortion on demand coven shares secondary responsibility for the slayings of Messrs. Fuoss and Pouillon.
Hey, it's the same logic they use on us. But if you want to extend the olive branch of "fairness," let's judge the Obamedia coverage, shall we?:
To be clear, the murder of anybody is horrific. But, it’s too early to ascribe a political motivation to the suspect.
Hey, Shuster, "to be clear," we already HAVE the motivation, because Drake PROUDLY ADMITTED IT.
I suppose it could have been worse; Shuster could have come out, Olbermann-style, and belched what he doubtless really thinks - that Drake is a patriot who has performed a great public service by ridding the world of two woman-oppressing, primitivist, knuckle-dragging, Bible-thumping, fascist Neanderthals. And who "had it coming," of course.
A whitewash, in short, instead of celebration. With which I could live if they ever extended anything like that benefit of the doubt to their political enemies. Which they do not.
So what say you, ganders? How's that sauce taste? Because we're going to make you animals choke on it for years to come.
