Mr. Wilson Faces A Firing Squad Of Blanks

Did I miss something, or didn't South Carolina Republican Congressman Joe Wilson already confess his blasphemy to Godbama last week?  Now the Dems, thinking they've got a golden distraction opportunity from how they're running the American ship of state straight into the f'ing ground, insist that he apologize to THEM as well?:

As early as Tuesday, House leaders could bring to the floor a resolution of disapproval aimed at Mr. Wilson, though the timing is uncertain, said a House Democratic leadership aide who described the issue as one of conduct, not speech.

“Congressman Wilson’s outburst during the joint session was a breach of decorum and brought discredit to the House,” the aide said. “It is common for members to address such breaches themselves rather than force action by the full House. Failure to respond would mean consent for that kind of conduct.”

Mr. Wilson’s critics cite his conduct as evidence of a deteriorating political climate and some are trying to use it to argue that the Republican Party more broadly is anti-immigrant. On Tuesday, a group of religious leaders is holding a prayer vigil calling for an end to what they describe as “hateful rhetoric.”

I guess Mr. Wilson's critics will have to widen their ball-busting list to include Kent Conrad and Max Baucus in their tiresome smear regimen.  Last I checked, they were (shhhhh!) Democrats.

But let's talk again about "hateful rhetoric," shall we?:

Yes, Representative Wilson accused Barack Obama of lying - which he did, repeatedly, in that very speech - and later apologized.  Pete Stark denounced President Bush as a liar and a sadist and no other Donk so much as blinked, much less voted to censure him.  Which goes hand in glove with Ted Kennedy calling Bush a "torturer" and Harry Reid calling Bush a "loser," just to name a couple more of the avalanche of examples of Dem "hate rhetoric".

But that was the Bush years; how about the past seven weeks of insatiable bile flowing from the Obamunist rhetorical sewer pipe at BarryCare opponents?  How about the "Opposition to Obama = racism" puke fountain?  And how about this tool whose strongest selling point in 2006 was that he was nominally less insane than Cynthia McKinney?:

The fruited plain will be overrun by Grand Exalted Imperial Omnipotent Stomper Joe Wilson's night riders if the "emerging racist" congressman isn't symbolically finger-wagged by his "betters."  Nope, nothing hateful in any of that, is there?

Minority Leader John Boehner (R-OH) incisively dismissed the whole thing as "a partisan stunt."  Hank Johnson's middle-finger-wagging made it an outrage.

How about a Wilson-Johnson hell in a cell bout next month, with The One as special guest referee?  That's got money written all over it.
