Sometimes He Feels Like A Nut
....and sometimes he does. Seriously, what's gotten into this broken down, retarded old fool? Did somebody sprinkle ecstasy in his Metamucil?:
On Sunday, Jimmeh told the Colombian newspaper El Tiempo that he believes the Bush Administration was likely behind a coup against Hugo Chavez in 2002 in Venezuela.
“I think there is no doubt that in 2002, the United States had at the very least full knowledge about the coup, and could even have been directly involved,” said the man whose favorite pastime these days is to huddle up with anti-American thugs.
{shrug} Well, either way, the pity is that the coup didn't succeed. Both we and the Venezuelans would be a helluva lot better off if it had.
From what he doesn't know but is eager to malevolently speculate about to a bit of convenient forgetfulness:
However, Carter says Chavez is now consolidating political power, making it “almost impossible” for the Obama administration to establish friendly relations with Venezuela.
“International relations would be better if he [Chavez] would stop his attacks and insults against the United States,” according to the former US leader.
He also said he was worried by the Venezuelan president’s drift towards “authoritarianism.”
Oh, you mean like YOUR insults against the United States to this very day, and particularly when George W. Bush was president? Shut up, old man.
Maybe while you've got that 832-tooth yapper closed, you might dredge around in that dementia between your ears and recall that you were one of the "election" observers back in the mid-2000s who signed off on not one, but two of Hugo Chavez's rigged elections. And far from sheepishly or furtively, either. Hell, you came across as if you had been his running mate. Yet NOW, three full years later, it begins to dawn on you that the evil clown "wasn't the Hugo Chavez I thought I knew"? After he's "nationalized the oil industry, installed a puppet parliament,....rigged elections designed to make him president for life....openly patterned himself after the region’s most successful totalitarians, the Castro brothers in Cuba, and....provided funding for leftist terrorists in neighboring Colombia"? Annnnnd inviting the Russians in to break ground on a nuclear weapons program for him just like they one they sold to the mullahs?
Actually, I'm astonished it EVER dawned on Mr. Peanut that Uncle Hugo was a thug even he might not be able to love forever. Probably because the Venezuelan dictator isn't as big an anti-Semite as his good buddy Adolph Ahmadinejad - whose "re-election" three months ago I have no doubts whatsoever "Jimmeh" would have endorsed as "fully free and fair," just like the evil clown's in 2004 and 2006.
I dunno. Maybe he's been secretly dispatched on tour in order to make The One look like a foreign policy centrist by comparison. If so, the strategery ain't working.
