Quitters Never Win
And Governor - oh, yeah, that's right, Mrs. - Palin, how about you stop whining about the Obamedia being the bottom-feeding extremist gutter trash they are? God knows if anybody has earned the right to promiscuously and publicly point out that particular paranthetical, it's you, but enduring the press's vicious partisan scorn is and always will be the legacy of any powerful conservative leader precisely because that is a select group of people which poses a legitimate threat to the ultimate triumph of neoBolshevism. As the GOP lineage from Barry Goldwater to Ronald Reagan to Newt Gingrich to George W. Bush could/can all attest, the Left will stop at nothing short of outright homocide to bring down and destroy ANY such threat to its politicoideological supremacy.
You, of course, have taken yourself out of that noble lineage by quitting because the heat in the proverbial kitchen overwhelmed you. Whether it's that you couldn't take it or your family whined you into wimping out, you have to know that the last, best shot at saving America from decades of Obamunist tyranny died with your governorship.

Here's Gallup, today:
Palin became a bit of a sensation after John McCain tapped her as his running mate last August. But over the course of the campaign, her image suffered, going from a 53% favorable rating immediately after the 2008 Republican National Convention to 42% by the end of the campaign.
Palin’s ratings have not recovered, and her current 40% favorable rating is the lowest for her since she became widely known after last year’s Republican convention…
Palin could compete for the 2012 nomination because she is still widely liked by Republicans — 69% have a favorable opinion of her while only 25% view her unfavorably. But she may have difficulty succeeding in the general election, given that Democrats have overwhelmingly negative opinions of her, and independents view her more negatively than positively.
AP corrects Gallup's deliberate mischaracterization and connects the true dots:
Follow the link and see for yourself when the divergence between her favorable and unfavorable numbers started to grow. Anything important happen this past July? It’s not just Gallup either. If you scan Pollster.com’s poll of polls on her net favorables dating back to last year, you’ll find that she was pretty near even as recently as … mid-July, when suddenly the slide begins....Proof positive, I guess, that her resignation has resonance with voters and will be a major issue in the primaries if she runs.
I hate to have to say "I told you so". But could another GOP heroine be on the horizon?
