Good news!  Barack Obama "isn't losing any sleep" over Fox News:

"Travis Hudson!" says Allahpundit:

First he complains that the Fox News brouhaha is a distraction from more important issues, neglecting to mention that (a) a distraction would be very welcome in the White House right now and (b) his own communications director was dispatched to CNN not to talk about those issues but to drone on and on about the alleged distraction. Then he insists that all Axelrod and Emanuel said is that the White House will hold adversarial media outlets to a different standard, which of course is a lie by omission. What they actually said was that other media outlets should hold Fox to a different standard too. Way to whitewash, champ.

Would you believe Eeyore is joined in this expression of extreme incredulity by....the New York Times?:

Speaking privately at the White House on Monday with a group of columnists and commentators, including Rachel Maddow and Keith Olbermann of MSNBC and Maureen Dowd, Frank Rich and Bob Herbert of The New York Times, President Obama himself gave vent to sentiments about the network, according to people briefed on the conversation…

Mr. Clemente suggested that the fight with Fox was part of a larger White House strategy to marginalize critics. He cited a report in Politico about a strategy session in August at which officials discussed plans to move more aggressively against opponents.

White House officials acknowledged that Fox News did come up at that meeting, although not, they said, as a central topic. A number of issues had been added to the White House’s list of grievances by then, including the network’s heavy coverage of some of the more heavily anti-administration commentary at town-hall-style meetings on health care and Mr. Beck’s remark that Mr. Obama “has a deep-seated hatred for white people.”

Hey, if an ObamaHouse-approved "real news organization" calls The One a lying sack of pus on his Fox vendetta, it's gotta be true, right?  Or is Lucifer now going to cleave the Grey Lady in two?

Exit vid from Jenber's congressman:

Y'know, if you use the 128 million Americans who voted last November as a baseline, and you multiply that by B.O.'s current approval number, it can not unfairly said that he "speaks for" about sixty million people.  That's still more than the combined talk radio audience, but the gap is narrowing all the time....
