The Petulant Child
Rich Lowry calls his latest column "Obama the Graceless." That's being charitable. If he's not blaming Bush for the woes he now finds himself in, he's apologizing for the greatness of America, or attacking his own countrymen. Every time I look at a picture of Obama, I think of Alfred E. Neumann. It's pretty disconcerting to think of the President of the United States that way, but does it fit, or what? He's a disaster.
JASmius adds: And the Newest Nixon:
With 47% public approval and a -13% passion index (or, if you prefer, one of the biggest first-year quarterly drops in presidential approval rating in decades), the products of his disastrous domestic (the recession, BarryCare, cap & tax) and foreign policy (quitting the GWOT, appeasing Iran and Russia, preparing to abandon Afghanistan) agendas, his numbers are headed in a decidedly Nixonian direction as well.
But....what happens if he bulldozes the country into a Great Depression II economic collapse and/or WMD attack on our soil before the people can take Congress away from him? Remember, some "children" are more than just bratty nuisances.
