Another Red Barry Crater

Because he doesn't HAVE "summits".  "Summits" are when the American president meets with the leaders of other nations and represents American interests, which usually is consistent with what's best for keeping the peace and safeguarding U.S. national security.  The attainment of those goals are typically consistent with standing by our allies and standing against our enemies.

Does THIS look like a "summit" to you?:

ChiComm dictator Hu Jintao gets the full bow & curtsy.  Looks like The One is waiting for instructions on where Hu wants his baggage taken.  Whereas Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper looks like he's getting chewed out by Lucifer for leaving the lawn mower out overnight during a rain storm, or missing curfew, or something.  I'm amazed that went digital with his index finger instead of its next-knuckle neighbor.  I'd love to see Harper's right palm right about that moment to see if his fingernails were drawing blood.

Bet he was wondering why he bothered attending this Bizarro travesty.  I'm sure Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili probably felt the same way, but he felt he didn't have the same luxury as other former U.S. allies like British PM Gordon Brown and Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu.  Which means he didn't have a choice about getting treated like the same pile of garbage as Brown and Bebe have been "deemed":

Saakashvili’s exclusion from the bilateral schedule is striking considering his strong support for U.S. interests, such as the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Georgia sent as many as 2,000 troops from its tiny army to Iraq. It will soon have nearly 1,000 in Afghanistan; 750 are being sent to fight under U.S. command. U.S. envoy Richard Holbrooke noted last month that Georgia’s per capita troop contribution would be the highest of any country in the world.

Obama thanked Saakashvili for that help in their phone call last week. But according to a Georgian account of the call, Obama didn’t say anything about Georgia’s aspiration to join NATO, or about Georgia’s interest in buying defensive weapons from the United States, in order to deter a repeat of the 2008 Russian invasion. “It’s a work in progress,” Saakashvili said of his defense talks with the administration during a meeting with [WaPo] editors and reporters Monday. “It’s a step-by-step approach. It takes time.”

Yeah - more time than the Russians will ever allow him.  Whereas the Chicago Cherubim will give Putin and Medvedev all the time in the world.  Just consider the comprehensive depth of this double-crossing misalignment:

The only problem: Georgia’s announcement yesterday that they’d foiled a plot to sell weapons-grade uranium was arguably the most dramatic of the summit, and under other circumstances would have made for a natural photo op between The One and Saakashvili....

Didn’t we just make nice with Russia last week when we signed the START treaty? Surely that burst of goodwill could have endured a meeting with Georgia’s president, especially with Medvedev and Putin angling to push the U.S. out of its base in Kyrgyzstan.

See the pics above and feel free to photoshop Czar Vlad ("The Invader") in place of "President" Hu, and Saakashvili - and another Obama appendage - for Prime Minister Harper.  If a picture is worth a thousand words, the words these photos invoke are unprintable.

But one thing they are not is "shocking," "surprising," or even out of the ordinary.  Barry O's commitment to winning in Afghanistan is a charade, and so is his pipedream of "a world without nuclear weapons".  Truth is, he's just fine with Iranian nukes and Russian nukes and ChiComm nukes and North Korean nukes; it's Israeli nukes he can't abide (which is why Netanyahu didn't bother coming just to be ambushed by the Messiah of Ceremonies) and....his own:

Barack Obama would not use the phrase "whether we like it or not, we're a military superpower," if he liked that fact.  Clearly he doesn't like it, for all the reasons we already know: he HATES his own country to the degree that he hasn't yet "transformed" it, and part of what he wants to transform it into is a weak, defenseless bureaucratic slave state, because his kind believe that America As Military Superpower is the focus of evil in the modern world.  Castrate Uncle Sam economically and militarily, carve out American exceptionalism from the national soul, and Paradise will emerge as inevitably as the sunrise.

See this book for a sneak preview of what will happen to this planet and its indigenous civilization when there is no more American economic and military superpower.  Maybe that's why Americans are rediscovering their fondness for cowboys over the pale horse with the big-eared rider.

UPDATE: From the Irrelevancy school of thought comes Mark Steyn's encapsulation:

The Obama Happy Fairyland Security Summit was posited on the principle that there’s no difference between a Swiss nuke and a Syrian nuke. If you believe that, you’ll be thrilled by the big breakthrough agreement of the summit: Canada, Chile, Mexico, and Ukraine have agreed to reduce their stocks of enriched uranium. Peace in our time! I have here a piece of paper from the prime minister of Canada!

Exit question: So why was BHO giving Harper the (index) finger, then?  Michelle thought he needed to lose a few pounds?
