A Democrat Held Accountable, & A Blogger Falls In Love

Brad Sherman (D-CA27) represents a suburban Los Angeles district that, by my aggregate House election prognostication formula, should be tsunami-proof in November.  But you don't get that impression from this vid of a townhall meeting when he tried to play dumb about the Obama Injustice & Revenge Department's favored treatment of the Bu Black Klan:

At least Sherman doesn't go all Pete Stark-ian on the crowd's asses.  But I do have to admit to being a bit puzzled by his attempted obtuseness.  Remember, again, this is a heavily Donk district; I would think the better course of action for, um, B.S. would have been to support Eric The Red's decision to let the Panthers go on their cracker-killing way and turn a similar blind eye to pro-Obamunist voter fraud rackets across the country.  It may well have antagonized that audience, but it would have created less of a cyber-viral ruckus than this lame attempt to insult their intelligence instead.  And, again, you'd think it wouldn't threaten his House seat in November.  Wouldn't you?

I only bring this up to use a line I've been waiting to put in a post since 1992: "I tuned into Fox News and G.L.O.W. broke out":

This segment has everything: three hot women, two hot blondes, and Megyn Kelly delivers a well-deserved ass-kicking to Kirsten Powers that Beth Phoenix would envy.  AAMOF, it bore a striking resemblance to the Sherman town hall, except that Powers didn't sit there looking goofily clueless.  Which admittedly would have been difficult after ten straight minutes of verbal widow's peaks; which is to say, Powers should have been in a bloody, unconscious heap.

Maybe next time she'll just play dumb instead.
