Dem Disintegration

In the words of the immortal Dave Niehaus, "It just continues, my, oh, my!":

In a new fundraising email from the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, Pelosi guarantees in no uncertain terms that Democrats will retain control of the House of Representatives.

“Here is what will happen in November. Democrats will keep control of the House. Period.”

Pelosi adds that she’s got a secret weapon up her sleeve to ensure triumph … you!

I'll give y'all a few minutes to retrieve a towel and clean up your monitors and desktops.  Fortunately, I already did with mine.  I guess when they finally "take her away, ha haaaaa!" Crazy Nancy has a second career in standup comedy awaiting her.  Seriously, that line was funny as hell.

Especially in light of this one:

While trying to mend ties between her caucus and the White House, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi turned her ire toward her Senate colleagues on Thursday, blaming Senate delays in passing the Democratic agenda for the disappointing jobs picture heading into the midterm elections.

“If we had healthcare sooner, if we had energy sooner, if we had an education bill sooner – they are all three pillars of job creation – and that would have resulted in more jobs created by now,” Pelosi (D-CA8) told reporters Thursday at her weekly press conference.

Huh?  Why does any of that matter since she's GUARANTEED that she'll hold the House?  How can any of that be an issue since the White House is running around blithering that Hogzilla I has "saved or created" three and a half million new jobs even sooner than expected?  Is that more or less demented than bitching about the Senate "stalling" job-destroying legislation obstructing even faster job creation that stopped happening two and a half years ago?  Is that a counter-punch against "Beltway Bob" Gibb's little indiscretion from Sunday as much as it is blame shifting to the doomed-anyway Dirty Harry Reid?

And what did he do with this hot potato of recrimination?  Why, what Democrats USED to do - blame it all on those powerless Republicans:

Republicans hope unemployment rates jump higher to give them a better shot at retaking Congress, Majority Leader Harry Reid said Wednesday.

At a press conference announcing a package of proposals to help small business, the Nevada Democrat said Republicans were obstructing legislation to help the economy for political reasons.

“They think the worse the economy is come November, the better they’re going to do election-wise,” Reid said.

Says the man who was rooting for failure in Iraq just three years ago on the exact, same grounds.  But to make it more issue-pertinent, I seem to recall then-House Minority Leader Dick Gephardt crowing back in '02 that the Dems would gain a House seat for every hundred point drop in the Dow Jones Industrial Average.  I also recall how Donks ripped the incoming Bush Administration in early '01 for "talking down the economy" by being honest about the Clinton recession they inherited, not unlike Republicans now are doing what they can to obstruct legislation that would HURT the economy, which Pencilneck is twisting and micharacterizing for....political reasons.  But, hey, it always gets back to those wascally Wepubwicans sooner or later.

And what are ALL - EVERY SINGLE LAST OF OF THEM - Republicans?  C'mon, you know:

Because, hey, it always gets back to those wacist, wascally Wepubwicans sooner or later.

Or maybe Democrats have simply "[BLEEP]ed themselves Pear Of Agony style with their own [BLEEP]ing [BLEEP]flame of Fascism".

Here's a counter-guarantee of my own: Here is what will happen in November - Republicans will take the House.  PERIOD."  And then they'll begin cleaning up the Obama/Pelosi/Reid mess.

How will they do this?  C'mon, you know:
