Persecution

I want you to read the following cultural-polarity-reversed quote and then ponder which party in this dispute would be the one in a world of hurt:

According to Keeton’s civil complaint, school officials met with her a number of times this spring to express concern over her open disagreement with [Christian doctrine] in her classes and her writing assignments.

“You couldn’t be a teacher, let alone a counselor, with those views,” a faculty member told her during one meeting, according to the complaint.

The officials outlined a remediation plan for Keeton that would include such things as participating in [Bible studies], completing reading and writing assignments on the topic and possibly attending [campus worship services], the complaint said.

She refused, writing in an e-mail to Augusta State officials, “[Y]ou are requiring me to alter my [sexual identity] and also to commit now that if I ever may have a client who wants me to affirm their decision to have a [baby] or [promote traditional marriage, monogamy, and abstinenced out of wedlock], I will do that.

“I can’t alter my [gay, lesbian, and transgender] beliefs, and I will not affirm [such theocratic fascism] in a counseling situation.”

In those switched positions, think Miss Keeton would have a case?  Why yes, I think she would, don't you?

However, the cultural polarity isn't switched, it's Augusta State University (emphasis on STATE) that has been sodomized, and it's the evangelical Christian Jennifer Keeton they're trying to screw based ENTIRELY on her religious faith in flagrant violation of the First Amendment:

August State University, as a public institution, is effectively establishing pro-homosexuality as official government doctrine and punishing Miss Keeton for his dissent from it by denying her a degree in her field, thus obstructing her ability to make a living in her field.  So this should be an open and shut case, right?

Wrong:

A federal judge has ruled in favor of a public university that removed a Christian student from its graduate program in school counseling over her belief that homosexuality is morally wrong

… U.S. District Judge George Caram Steeh dismissed [Julea] Ward’s lawsuit against Eastern Michigan University. She was removed from the school’s counseling program last year because she refused to counsel homosexual clients.

The university contended she violated school policy and the American Counseling Association code of ethics.

We have reached the rubicon in the persecution process where for all intents and purposes, evangelical Christians have no civil rights.  If you are a believer in and follower of Jesus Christ, you must keep your faith in the closet and function publicly as a pagan if you expect to be accorded all the rights and privileges of U.S. citizenship Obamnesty, or even want to survive economically.  "Be a queer if you want to live," in bark-on terms.

This process was foreseen, though.  The Holy Spirit revealed the following through Paul The Apostle 1,950 years ago:

 ¹⁸The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness, ¹⁹since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. ²⁰For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.

 ²¹For although they knew God, they neither glorified Him as God nor gave thanks to Him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. ²²Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools ²³and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles.

 ²⁴Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. ²⁵They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—Who is forever praised. Amen.

Sound like the "sexual revolution" of the '60s and '70s?  Why, yes it does. 

²⁶Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. ²⁷In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.

The rise of the Lavender Lobby in the '80s and '90s.  And in the present day homosexuality has not just gained cultural parity, but as the Keeton case dolefully illustrates, cultural supremacy.

²⁸Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, He gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done. ²⁹They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, ³⁰slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; ³¹they are senseless, faithless, heartless, ruthless. ³²Although they know God's righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.

Sure looks and sounds like the acts of the Obama regime and the Pelosi/Reid politburo to me.

Accordingly, the following "revelation" of the Holy Spirit to John the Apostle about thirty years later doesn't appear to be that far down the road to perdition:

 ¹⁶And he causes all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free men and the slaves, to be given a mark on their right hand or on their forehead, ¹⁷and he provides that no one will be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the mark, either the name of the beast or the number of his name.

¹⁸Here is wisdom Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for the number is that of a man; and his number is six hundred and sixty-six.

No, Barack Obama isn't the anti-Christ, no matter how big his ego gets.  But the progression is not long from barring a Christian from work in his/her field to barring Christians from working period, and from thence to verse seventeen above.

How long did it take German Jews in the '30s to go from average ordinary citizens to second class citizens to the camps to the ovens?  Five years?  But that was after the poison of anti-Semitism had been settling into the cultural soil for decades beforehand.  The Christian Holocaust is unfolding along the very same path, and the Keeton and Ward cases are looking very much like the point of no return.
