The Armus Coverup Narrative Grows
Yesterday, the long-awated "A-Whale," the gigantic oil skimming behemoth that can suck a half million gallons a day of oil out of the sea, finally arrived in the Gulf of Mexico primed for more suckage than a thousand Paris Hilton lifetimes. But it, natch, immediately hit a snag: because of its size, and because it needs to be near the source of the spill to be most effective, it needs to go to the area that is, purportedly, "most congested".
But today comes a report that much of that "congestion" - fishing trawlers for the most part - is "congesting" harbor ports and docks far more than the Deepwater Horizon spill ground zero itself:
BP and the Obama administration face mounting complaints that they are ignoring foreign offers of equipment and making little use of the fishing boats and volunteers available to help clean up what may now be the biggest spill ever in the Gulf of Mexico.
The Coast Guard said there have been 107 offers of help from forty-four nations, ranging from technical advice to skimmer boats and booms. But many of those offers are weeks old, and only a small number have been accepted, with the vast majority still under review, according to a list kept by the State Department.
And in recent days and weeks, for reasons BP has never explained, many fishing boats hired for the cleanup have done a lot of waiting around....
Rocky Ditcharo, a shrimp dock owner in Buras, Louisiana, said many fishermen hired by BP have told him that they often park their boats on the shore while they wait for word on where to go.
“They just wait because there’s no direction,” Ditcharo said. He said he believes BP has hired many boat captains “to show numbers.”
“But they’re really not doing anything,” he added. He also said he suspects the company is hiring out-of-work fishermen to placate them with paychecks.
Between the skimmers at sea and beach cleanup, between eighty and eighty-five percent of volunteer workers are sitting on their duffs twiddling their thumbs because that's what they've been told to do by the Obama administration, either directly or through its BP hostage.
So there would seem to be far more open sea at the spill site for the A-Whale to occupy, yet the A-Whale is being held back because of "congestion" at the spill site that does not, in fact, exist. I'll ask the question again: as inept as bureaucracy is by its very nature, is it truly possible that YET ANOTHER "snafu" that has THE EXACT SAME EFFECT as all its predecessors - preventing the spill cleanup - can really be one more "coincidence"? Remember: fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me. I don't know what the "fool me the thirty-seventh time" stanza says specifically, but I'm guessing that's probably why there isn't one.
Mark Noonan introduces another aspect to Armus that fits hand-in-glove with two more Obamunist schemes - undermining the global capitalist economy and screwing over the Brits:
As horrific as the gulf environmental catastrophe is, an even more intractable and cataclysmic disaster may be looming. The yet unknowable costs associated with clean-up, litigation and compensation damages due to arguably the world’s worst environmental tragedy, may be in the process of triggering a credit event by British Petroleum (BP) that will be equally devastating to global over-the-counter (OTC) derivatives…
We see here why Tony Hayward was so amenable to coughing up "only" twenty billion dollars for Red Barry's slush fund. Clearly he was gambling that that would be a de facto cap on BP's liability. Of course, it's a foolish gamble; there's no reason to think that U.S. courts will be any less harsh in assessing compensatory and punitive damages than the White House's extortion artists were; nor is there any reason to believe that twenty bil will be The One's final "request". Given BP's huge size (in corporate terms) and degree of diversification, driving it into bankruptcy isn't going to HELP investors here and in the U.K. With the global economy in the fragile state it's in, how big does the fateful ripple have to be that craters it utterly into a depressionary crash as devastating as the one eighty years ago?
But it sure would be a delightfully gi-normous crisis for Lucifer and his Legion to exploit, wouldn't it?
Regardless of which way you slice the motivations, there is an exponentially metastasizing body of embarrassing/damning information down in the Gulf that the Obamunists (and yes, that label includes BP) are trying to cover up. Coverups, as we all know, are usually worse than the original crime(s) and what usually attract the attention of the media. The Obamedia has been "expectedly" incurious, but that dam has started to crack. CNN is the latest fissure:
In this case, though, what if I'm right, and the crime vastly surpasses the coverup in depth and breadth of severity? Nobody wants to believe that, so everybody reflexively rules it out. And the "bureaucratic incomptence" argument is so immensely plausible that it'll cover these endless "snafus" indefinitely. But yet the Hussein administration is keeping the Gulf under media blackout.
Logic suggests the reason. Will our political system be able to withstand its exposure?
