I'm proud to announce the endorsement of Dino Rossi for U.S. Senate in Washington against 18-year incumbent Democrat Senator Murray.

Dino Rossi is a principled conservative who will fight to stop the massive spending, takeovers, and debt that are bankrupting our country. He understands the stimulus bill was a failure, he will fight to repeal the health care takeover, and he will help us pass a constitutional amendment to balance the budget without raising taxes.

Dino Rossi is also pro-life, pro-marriage, and pro-Second Amendment. He opposes government bailouts, wasteful earmarks, and amnesty for illegal immigrants. Dino Rossi will fight to preserve individual liberty by supporting and defending the Constitution of the United States.

Dino is not a career politician. He's a businessman with a young family who has decided that he has to do something to save his country. Dino came to meet with me several weeks ago and told me he only wanted to run for the Senate if Republicans were going to be serious about shrinking the size of our government. This is exactly the kind of leader we need in the Senate.

A Rasmussen Reports survey released today shows Dino Rossi trailing Senator Patty Murray by only two points. Democrats are so worried about his candidacy that President Obama has made plans to attend a fundraiser for Murray on August 17.

Rossi has also attracted substantial support from grassroots conservatives throughout Washington. A King5 News survey released on June 30 showed Rossi leading his closest Republican primary opponent by 28 points.

We've studied Dino's record and his positions on the key issues, and it's clear that he will stand up to the establishment in both parties. Dino is exactly the kind of leader people in Washington and all across America want in the Senate.

The Senate Conservatives Fund is jumping into this race because we believe Dino Rossi can win it. He's is in an uphill fight against an entrenched incumbent but we've shown that we can defy the odds if we all work together.
