Got A Jobs Plan?

Thirty straight months of a bad economy and the worst unemployment levels since the Great Depression - Washington needs a new plan to get the economy moving again. You can make it happen this August by demanding your member of Congress hold a townhall meeting on jobs and explain what they are doing to get the economy going again.

The Obama administration has spent trillions of taxpayer dollars and failed to restart the American economy. Rasmussen Reports found that the #1 issue Americans care about is the economy and job creation. But, while the country sinks further into debt and the deficit grows larger, the White House predicts it will reach $1.47 trillion by the end of the year, job growth has been limited to the government sector. Hard-working Americans and small business are having to cut back, as their tax dollars are being spent with reckless abandon, and the threat of tax increases becomes more real by the day.

We urge you to contact your Representative in Congress today and ask them if they are holding a Jobs Townhall meeting during the month of August.

U.S. Representatives Jim Jordan (R-OH) and Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) have introduced the Economic Freedom Act which is based on the American Solutions Jobs First plan. We believe every Member of Congress should be supporting this new plan as an alternative to President Obama's job killing policies. The Jobs First plan will:

Reduce payroll taxes by 50% for both employers and employees in 2010
Allow all firms to expense 100% of the cost of new equipment
Eliminate the capital gains tax
Reduce the corporate income tax rate to 12.5%
Eliminate the Death Tax
