Informed Voter Guide

Earlier this year the Freedom Foundation published our Informed Voter Guide. The Guide complied a list of information that every Washington voter should know about their legislators before he or she votes.

Today we’re excited to announce the next step in this project. Please click on the video link at the right to learn more.

This week we launched our Legislator Reports—publications designed to help citizens understand not only how their legislators voted, but WHY they voted that way. Over 50 citizen volunteers came together to research in places like YouTube, WashingtonVotes.org, TVW, and media websites. You will be amazed by the information they found.

We’ve created the first 11 reports to serve a template for others to build upon. There are 136 remaining Washington legislators that deserve as much scrutiny as the ones we studied, and we’re asking Washington citizens to help us finish the project. If you want to study the legislators in your district, visit our website to follow in our footsteps. There you’ll find the details of where and how we conducted our research.

We’re also excited to launch our WA Supreme Court guide. Our legal team has compiled information about each of the current WA Supreme Court Justices and made it available for you. Too few people realize that these vital elections will be decided in the Primary Election on August 17!
