The Superior Headliner

....and warmup act.  In this case, Fortney Pete Stark, from the same pink shirt appearance, finally finding something that the U.S. Constitution ostensibly disallows:

Eeyore did the Eric Cartman "This does not...make...sense!" bit as deadpan comedic irony, thus saving me the trouble.  Let's just say that the common thread throughout Starkian constitutional jurisprudence is who he thinks the Constitution restrains and who he thinks the Constitution limitlessly empowers.  Or, even more distilled, in the P.S. Constitution, liberalism is constitutional and non-liberalism is unconstitutional.

Betcha didn't know the Constitution had been nationalized, didja?  Judging by that townhall crowd's reactions, I think that cat is outta the bag.

***And here I figured that Crazy Nancy's favorite word was "more":

"The devil can cite Scripture for his purpose. An evil soul producing holy witness Is like a villain with a smiling cheek." [1596 Shakespeare Merchant of Venice i. iii. 93]

Even if the villain doesn't understand what she's quoting, and that cheek is permanently immobilized.

Say, isn't "the Word" two words?  See?  More!  More!  More bearing false witness!:

The AP writer expanded on the headline in his lede: "Democratic leaders say they've emptied the swamp of congressional corruption. Never mind the ethics trials to come for two longtime party members. 'Drain the swamp we did, because this was a terrible place,' Speaker Nancy Pelosi said last week of the Republican rule in the House that ended in January 2007."

Thing is, don't you have to have at least a minimal chance of fooling your listeners in order for false-witness-bearing to be worth the skull-duggerous effort?  This is either congenital delusionalism or she's being mind-controlled by a union parakeet.

Exit answer: When does Nancy Pelosi think the Word became flesh and started dwelling among us?  January 20th, 2009, of course.
