Dear Patriot,
With much of the $100 million needed to complete the Islamic
"victory" mosque is pouring in from Arab nations - especially
Saudi Arabi (where 15 of the 9-11 terrorists hailed), Imam
Feisel Rauf, the man behind the mosque is publicly saying
his goal is to "Americanize" Islam, and that the mosque
is a positive step forward in establishing a healthy
relationship with Americans.
But is he seeking to "Americanize" Islam, or "Muslimize"
America.
Regarding the 9-11 attack, Rauf stated that
terrorism would only end when the west acknowledges
the harm it has done to Muslims, and that
Christians actually started the mass attacks
on civilians.
During another engagement he suggested "The United
States has more Muslim blood on its hands than al
Qaida has on its hands of innocent non-Muslims."
His comments certainly raise an eyebrow as to his true intent.
If Rauf were truly interested in building a positive
relationship with Americans, why won’t he consider moving
his mosque project several blocks away - especially
considering the firestorm of protest his mosque plan has sparked?
The New York Daily News is asking that very question, after
finding no less than four alternative sites in lower Manhattan -
just blocks from the planned site.
The reason we believe is both simple and disturbing ...
If the Cordoba mosque as it is being called is built on
the footprint of Ground Zero, it would become part of a
long history of mosque building following Muslim victories.
In other words, this mosque would become a "victory" mosque
in the same light as Muslim conquests in Mecca, Jerusalem,
and Constantinople...
As one Muslim reporter put it, erecting the Cordoba House
at Ground Zero "will make jihadists delighted."

As Rep. John Boehner (R-OH) said of the mosque, "this is not
an issue of law, religious freedom or zoning" as many would
have you believe. "This is a basic issue of respect for a
tragic moment in our history."
He is right. As stated above, placement of this mosque in
the very shadows of Ground Zero is an affront to the memories
of those murdered by radical Islamists, and to the citizens
of our nation.

As Debra Burlingame, the sister of the American Airlines
pilot whose jet was flown into the Pentagon said during a
recent Fox News interview, "The idea that you would establish
religious institution that embraces the very Shariah Law
that terrorists point to as their justification for what
they did - to build that where almost 3,000 people died,
that is an obscenity to me."
