RINO Holds Alaska Hostage

Dear Friend:

I'm writing today to let you know about something very disturbing that may happen in the U.S. Senate race in Alaska, and to ask for your urgent help.

According to reports by the Associated Press and the Politico, Republican Senator Lisa Murkowski -- who was defeated in the August 24th primary election -- is now actively looking for a way to stay in the race. Roll Call reports that after the Libertarian Party rejected her request to replace their nominee on the November ballot, she is now considering a write-in campaign.

When Senator Murkowski conceded the race to conservative Joe Miller on August 31st, I praised her for doing the right thing to unite the party. I hope I didn't speak too soon.

This would be a very selfish move. In fact, when asked about the impact of a Murkowski switch, Chris Cillizza at the Washington Post said it could "give Democrats a chance for a totally unforeseen pickup opportunity."

Conservatives need to provide Joe Miller with the support he needs to defeat the Democrat in November, but we also need to act right now to send a message that we won't sit back if Senator Murkowski does what Arlen Specter and Charlie Crist did when they faced defeat.

Support Joe Miller's Senate Campaign

When Senator Murkowski conceded, she said she would return home to Alaska at the end of the year. I hope she keeps her word. But if she doesn't, you have my word that the Senate Conservatives Fund will go all out to help Joe Miller defeat her in the general election.

Please make a contribution to Joe Miller's Senate campaign today. It doesn't have to be a large donation but he needs to know that thousands of freedom-loving Americans won't let the establishment steal this victory.

Joe Miller is a rock-solid conservative and he deserves our support. He opposes bailouts, opposes earmarks, supports repealing Obama's health care takeover, and is 100% pro-life. If he's elected in November, he will join a growing number of new leaders in the Senate who will honor their oath of office to support and defend the Constitution of the United States.
