What with so many conservatives dumping on Christine O'Donnell, I found it refreshing to find Stephen Spruiell actually looking at Chris Coons, and showing what a liberal lapdog for Obama he will be if he makes it to the Senate. There ARE worse things than Christine O'Donnell, and pushing her over the edge of the cliff in favor of the self-avowed Marxist Chris Coons isn't going to help anyone but the Democrats. How about we get behind her? Whether you like her or not, she's the nominee, and she's a much better choice than the alternative.

Meanwhile, the DSCC hasn't wasted any time vindicating every word Karl Rove and Charles Krauthammer said last week:

Eeyore's right that the American Lenin is a Donk party-hack who has nothing positive on which to run, since Red Barry is underwater even in Delaware.  But he's a Donk party-hack in a deep-"blue" state with a double-digit lead, so he doesn't have to do much of anything other than take pot shots at O'Donnell's gaping vulnerabilities.  That'll raise more than enough doubts about her to enable him to run out the clock until November 2nd.

The "We told you so"'s will be brutal, so let's leaven them with a little light-heartedness:
