Big Labor Banking On Porky Murray

|
Recently, I sent you a letter expressing my concern over your Senator Patty Murray's support for Big Labor's "Card Check" Bill and the rest of the union bosses' radical agenda in Washington, D.C. Now, despite the letters, phone calls and emails from folks like you, Patty Murray is still flat-out refusing to apologize or change her ways. This is very disturbing, to say the least. That's why it's vital you contact Senator Murray immediately and demand that she apologize for her vote for "Card Check" and withdraw her support for this radical bill. You see, if passed, the "Card Check" Bill would strip workers of their right to secret ballot elections when union organizers target their workplaces. Instead, the union bosses will be able to intimidate workers one-on-one -- or three-on-one -- into signing so-called "union authorization cards," and the entire company would be unionized automatically. Not only that, but there's another ticking time bomb hidden deep within the bill -- "binding arbitration." If the union bosses can drag out negotiations past 90 days by making outrageous demands, Obama Administration bureaucrats will use this so-called "problem" as an excuse to force Big Labor's terms and conditions on workers! And as a "reward" for supporting this radical scheme, the union bosses have already funneled over $400,000 in campaign contributions into Patty Murray's campaign. It looks like the union bosses can't wait for Senator Murray to get back to Congress to vote for even more forced unionism. And looking even deeper into her record, it appears Senator Murray would be happy to oblige. You see, not only did Senator Patty Murray vote for the Card Check Forced Unionism Bill, but she also voted for Big Labor's dangerous Police and Firefighter Monopoly Bargaining Bill. Should this bill pass, not only could it FORCE every police officer, firefighter and EMT in the country under union boss control, but it's the first step toward forcing all state and local government workers under Big Labor's thumb. And during these tough economic times, that's the last thing we need! The fact is, thanks to out-of-control public sector union bosses, California is facing a budget deficit of over $19 billion. Illinois is facing a $13 billion shortfall -- half the state's budget. Dropping down a level, the city of Vallejo, California, actually went bankrupt after nearly 75% of its budget was spent on satisfying the demands of the union agreement covering police and firefighters. And the Mayor of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, recently stated that struggling cities are "handcuffed" by public sector monopoly bargaining! The fact is, should the Police and Firefighter Monopoly Bargaining Bill pass, these problems won't get better nationwide. They will get worse. That's why it's vital you contact Senator Patty Murray immediately. So far, emboldened from the support of her union boss benefactors, Senator Murray has refused to budge from her pro-forced-unionism position. But with a tough Senate race on her hands, I'm hopeful your continued pressure will force Senator Murray to change her ways. That's why it's vital you contact Senator Patty Murray TODAY. Tell Senator Murray to apologize for her votes in favor of forced unionism and urge her to pledge 100% opposition to Big Labor's radical agenda immediately. Also, please contact Republican Dino Rossi and thank him for returning his Candidate Survey in 100% opposition to forced unionism and for standing up to Big Labor as a State Legislator. Please act TODAY! Sincerely, ![]() Mark Mix |
