Dirty Sanchez

I guess I have written about the dumbest person in the Obabamedia once or twice.  Which also confirms that he is, indeed, involved in an ongoing feud with Jon Daley of Comedy Central.  But his stupidity has heretofore been of the ditzy, airheaded variety.

But no longer, gentles.  Rick Sanchez has branched his stupidity out:

"The Jews" run CNN, eh?  And Sanchez calls Stewart a "bigot"?

Ah, but this won't matter, right?  Ricky boy can just issue an apology of some sort (It was "just a joke", right?) and all will be forgiven, yes?

Well, perhaps if he was pulling his own ratings weight.

Apparently, he hasn't been:

CNN released this statement today:

“Rick Sanchez is no longer with the company. We thank Rick for his years of service and we wish him well.”

I'll guarantee you two things:

(1) The pink slip was NOT about the "Joooooos" comment, but his crappy ratings.  The former was simply a plumb opportunity to gain positive PR in the process of doing what they would have done anyway.

(2) Per Eeyore, the only safe haven Dirty Sanchez might have found in the cable news biz is probably his last burned bridge.
