President Barack Obama attacked Republicans with gusto Monday as he plunged into a final week of midterm election campaigning, but his party’s prognosis remained darkened by the feeble economy and his itinerary was designed largely to minimize losses.Nor was his greeting totally friendly in Rhode Island where Obama has pointedly declined to endorse his party’s candidate for governor.

Obama can “take his endorsement and shove it,” declared Democrat Frank Caprio, battling Republican-turned-independent Lincoln Chafee in a gubernatorial race rated tight in the polls. Chafee endorsed Obama during the 2008 campaign for the White House.

In a little more than five hours in the state, Obama was booked for a factory tour and for a pair of fundraisers that party officials said would bring in $500,000.

He said Republicans had driven the economy into a ditch and then stood by and criticized while Democrats pulled it out. Now that progress has been made, he said, “we can’t have special interests sitting shotgun. We gotta have middle class families up in front. We don’t mind the Republicans joining us. They can come for the ride, but they gotta sit in back.”

No, he didn't actually SAY that his metaphorical vehicle is a bus.  But you KNOW that's what he meant.  Quoteth Instapundit: "What’s his 2012 slogan going to be? 'Get Whitey — Vote Obama?'”

I think The One (also) throws in the barely-cloaked hatemongering as an incendiary distraction from his other intelligence-insulting garbage.  "[Economic] progress has been made?"  Even his Obamedia allies are starting to report the truth of how absymal the Obamaconomy really is.  The "special interests" one-way street rap coming from the filthy mouth of the Big Labor/ACORN/hard-Left shill doesn't sell anymore either.  Voters have already ID'd one of the perps that really did drive the economy into the ditch and "drove" him into retirement and are possibly closing in on his partner in crime.

But that tendency of Barry O to bitterly cling to his inner Uncle Jeremiah in times of distress he was assured would never befall HIM is coming out more and more frequently, which suggests the pressure he must be feeling as his presidency crumbles all around him.  Most of his economic Slurpee squad has scattered to the four winds, Rahmbo is gone, and the one that refuses to leave he probably wishes, deep down, would.  That "punish our enemies" slur from yesterday in such close proximity simply re-vindicates everything we've ever said about this man's racism, hatemongering, extremism, and acute experienceless.  To reiterate, B.O. is like the elite athlete who's been pampered and sychophanted his whole life and had life's road paved for him every step of the way until he reaches his Peter Principle level, or suffers a career-ending injury, and overnight the posse and hangers-on and ass-kissers and media mavens disappear and he's left all by his lonesome.  He was hypnotized by the tag team of hype and ego, and they're kicking his ass.

So, because his ego and his ideology won't let him retreat, he's doing the only thing he knows to do: lash out at his "enemies".  And make more of them in the process.  Instapundit again: "This kind of inflammatory rhetoric is dangerous. I don’t think we’ve ever seen its like from a sitting President."

No you have not.  Doubtless more than one of Lucifer's predecessors have THOUGHT such things, but none of them were ever melon-headed enough to come out and SAY them publicly.  Which also serves to reiterate another truth about False Messiah that was demonstrated again and again throughout the summer of 2008 whenever he'd wonder away from TOTUS - This guy is dumber than a box of Rogaine's toupees:

Ego and ideology double-clothesline King Hussein again.  I could have sworn the (non-GOP/conservative-smearing) line Dems have been attempting push for weeks is that the 2010 midterms WEREN'T national but hundreds of LOCAL elections having NOTHING AT ALL TO DO with Barack Obama or Nancy Pelosi or Harry Reid or their rape and pillage of the fruitless plain over the past two years.  But, as we all know, to Barack Obama everything is about Barack Obama.  Even a midterm election in which the congressional wing of his party is going to be wiped out almost entirely because of him.  And here he gives every candid indication that he'll spend the next two years digging his own electoral grave.

Is there any other possible explanation?  Perhaps he's playing to his particular audience?  He WAS on The Al Sharpton Show, after all.  But no; Red Barry lies about most things, but himself and his core beliefs are not among them.  He's had enough self-discipline (and Obamedia protection) in the past to limit his true rancid prejudices to receptive audiences, but that firewall has disintegrated along with his credibility and his approval numbers.  He's got nothing and no one left to protect him from what is, for him, the ultimate novelty: facing the consequences of his own actions.
