• ObamaCare Will End Physician-Owned Practice. According to Scott Gottlieb, "In 2005, more than two-thirds of medical practices were doctor-owned...By next year, the share of practices owned by physicians will probably drop below 40 percent."
• ObamaCare Incentivizes Employers to Drop Health Insurance. Philip Bredesen, the Democratic Governor of Tennessee recently explained, "Tennessee could reduce costs by over $146 million using the legislated mechanics of health reform to transfer coverage to the federal government." That's bad news for the federal deficit and for patients.
• ObamaCare Increases Health Care Costs. Analysts at the Office of the Medicare Actuary concluded in a Health Affairs study that costs will go up, not down, as a result of ObamaCare. This is entirely contrary to the President's promise to "bend the cost curve."
