These days, Democrat dirty trickterism is ubiquitous.  There's no place, no refuge, no nook or cranny of the ravaged plain where still resides an honest, integritous, honorable Donk.  They're all liars, all crooks, all thieves, and all enemies of the United States of America.

But wouldn't you think that what once were comparative hotspots of Donk corruption would have, I dunno, kept the bar raised on that corruption?  Particularly the home of Al Capone?:

After the debate, Giannoulias admitted his campaign, in coordination with the Democratic Party, funded a mailer to Downstate conservatives touting Libertarian Senate candidate Mike Labno as the “pro-life, pro-gun” alternative to Kirk, who supports abortion rights like Giannoulias and who at least previously favored restrictions on handguns.

The Democrats hoped to divert votes from Kirk to Labno. Is that deceptive?

“No,” Giannoulias said.

“It’s a sign of increasing desperation of a campaign when the Democratic Party of Illinois starts sending out flyers on behalf of an entirely different party,” Kirk said.

For my money, it was a sign of desperation for the Democrat Party of Illinois to nominate this bumbling mob bagman in the first place.  Not only does this faux Labno flyer disclose the Dems as its source (on the back, in fine print, printed with Acme Disappearing-Reappearing Ink, but still....), but GiaPet compounds that screw-up by publicly admitting it - and then denying that its raison de tere is deception.  And - AND - this came after another debate with Republican rival Mark Kirk that might as well be dubbed, "'Jaws' Giorango II".

Fortunately for Flexi-Alexi, his Mafia buddies have his back:

Brian Faughnan writes in to offer a deeply disturbing theory: “A GOP veteran of Chicago politics suggests that the Dems ‘screwed up’ that absentee-ballot campaign on purpose. He suggests that the plan was to ensure that lots of ballots are fouled, to force a showdown over whether to count tens of thousands of ballots that can’t be verified. He sees it as a way to insert vote fraud into the process in a massive way.”

Mark Kirk's current polling lead: two percentage points, or a little over a hundred thousand votes.

Guess "the Chicago way" hasn't lost ALL its brain cells.
