Luella Madcowsky Will Tag Team With ANYBODY

This time, it's Representative Betty "There She Goes Again" McCollum (D-MN4), who, borrowing the "there is no spoon" incantation from Neo, blurted at the debate with Republican challenger Teresa Collett that, in the state that enabled Al F'ing Franken to commit highway recount robbery against rightful 2008 senatorial re-election winner Norm Coleman, "There is no vote fraud":

It's a shame that Minnesota-4 is all but tsunami-proof; otherwise it'd be insatiably entertaining, in a gallows sort of way, to watch McCollum avail herself of as much vote fraud as it took to hold on to her misbegotten seat.

Speaking of which, the bug-eyed crackwhore's Daddy-ized, SCOA (Supreme Court of Alaska) -paved inside track to maintaining her white-knuckled grip on that U.S. Senate seat has had a hilarious wrench thrown into its innards:

In a movement one pro-Sarah Palin website is calling “Operation Alaska Chaos,” at least 100 people filed paperwork Thursday to register as write-in candidates in the U.S. Senate election, according to the Division of Elections.

A stream of would-be senators filtered through the elections office in Midtown Anchorage late in the day, many saying the effort is meant to protest an order by the Alaska Supreme Court on Wednesday allowing a list of write-in candidates to be shown to voters who ask for assistance.

The court action is expected to aid Senator (MerCOKEski's) write-in bid and amounts to electioneering by the state, say supporters of Republican nominee Joe Miller. The idea of a mass registration is to create a long list of potential write-in choices and make it harder for voters to find (MerCOKEski's) name.

...A list of candidates on the Division of Elections website included more than 40 write-in names late Thursday, but employees at the Anchorage office said other names were still being processed.

Among the write-in candidates listed on the division website Thursday was a “Tom M.,” but no “Lisas.”

Richard Koller of Anchorage imagined (MerCOKEski's) name awash in “a sea of other names” at Alaska polling places as a result of the mass registration.

Take THAT, King Frank.  The people of Alaska will teach your little tooting princess the meaning of the word "NO!" like you should have.

Of course, I can easily see Alaska election officials having the list of write-in names printed in illegibly small print except for Luella Madcowsky's name taking up half the frickn' page.  That really is the level of puerility her mad power-quest is plumbing.

Which, in turn, makes me wonder about polls like this one:

The poll, conducted by Dittman Research & Communications, shows Murkowski leading attorney Joe Miller (R), 37% to 27%, with the Democrat, Sitka Mayor Scott McAdams, in third place with 23%. Thirteen percent chose other candidates or were undecided.

Replicating the write-in process in a phone survey can be difficult, but the technique used by pollster Dave Dittman is unique to most public polls of the race. Respondents are first asked an open-ended question about their vote preference, and their choice of candidate is recorded. If the respondent is unable to make a choice, he or she is read the names of the candidates on the ballot, with the option of a write-in candidate. In order to choose Murkowski, the respondent must choose the write-in option and provide her name.

According to Dittman’s polls of the race over the past two months, Murkowski’s support has remained quite steady in the mid- to upper-30s. Miller began the general campaign, just days after upsetting Murkowski in the GOP primary, at 32%, but his support this month has fluctuated in the mid- to upper-20s as his negatives have risen.

I'm not going to say that these numbers aren't possible (plausible is another matter).  I don't think anybody, including this polling outfit, can say anything for sure because of the immense practical difficulty of polling a race like this with the incumbent horning in as a write-in.  What I will say is that if Team Madcowsky really, truly, confidently believed in these numbers, why would they be flailingly trying to smear Joe Miller at every opportunity, subvert state election laws to grasp every possible advantage, and gin up psychop surveys of their own?

Combine that with the fact that every poll up through a week ago had the race tied and now, suddenly, this monster Madcowsky surge just conveniently materializes out of the ether in the final week....let's just say it doesn't add up.

So says....Daily Kos's pollster: Joe Miller is favored heading into the final two days of the US Senate campaign in Alaska. 37% of voters say they'll pick him while 30% plan to vote for Scott McAdams and another 30% plan... Read More
