Self-Torpedoed @ The Bottom

How can one continue to "Sink" when one has already hit bottom?  Florida's treasurer and Democrat gubernatorial candidate is determined to find out, rather like fifteenth-century European explorers' obsession with finding a short-cut to India:

First, is it not telling that she gets herself booked on the friendliest possible media venue she can after this debacle?  Second, is it not even more telling that she tries out her pathetic excuse for Lifelinegate on Tingle because (1) she's confident - and justifiably so - that she won't be challenged on it, and (2) she knows - also justifiably - that there's nobody watching Hardball....that's it.  Oh, okay, that isn't as corrupt and dishonest and just plain loony as she is.  In short, she felt safe and secure that she could pass off the debate help it's documented on digital video AND audio she received during her debate with Republican rival Rick Scott the other night as a text from her daughter.  Like a staffer would rush on stage during a commercial break and interrupt her boss with something that trivial.  And if it wasn't trivial, like the plot of Taken, it wouldn't have come by text, and she'd probably have rushed off the stage, at least if she was any kind of decent mother.

How pathetic was Sink for trying to pass off this canine-homework-consumption?  CNN tore a hamstrung to beat Fox News in busting it:

As an old saying goes, this ain't Cochrane multidimensional physics.  Really, are Floridians supposed to believe that Sink axed that staffer because she couldn't wait to pass on a "Hi, Mom, wish you were here!" e-gram?  If she was going to go down this road, wouldn't she keep the staffer as part of her stonewall?  Now she looks dishonest AND incompetent.

And remember what she was arguing with Governor-in-waiting Scott about: which of them was the more trustworthy.

So now Treasurer Sink has (1) cheated, (2) got caught cheating, (3) scapegoated her staffer for it, and (4) made up a transparently bullshit alibi completely inconsistent with (3).

This is the brand of leadership she wants to bring to Tallahassee and force on all of you, Sunshine Staters.

Either that, or she's auditioning for a job with the Obama Regime.
