Are We Feeling Lucky, Punks?

I have some alarming news.

The word on Capitol Hill is that Harry Reid will move TODAY to cut-off all debate and ram the Police and Firefighter Monopoly Bargaining Bill (S. 3194) into law.

Embittered Senate Democrats in the outgoing renegade "lame duck" Congress are preparing a parting "going away" present for their Big Labor financiers -- every police and firefighter's paycheck on a platter.

Make no mistake. S. 3194 is designed to FORCE every firefighter and police officer in the country under union boss control.

During these tough times, passage of the Police and Firefighter Monopoly Bargaining Bill could be the final straw for cities and small communities that are already struggling to make ends meet.

This legislative power grab will cost taxpayers BILLIONS.

The record is clear. In jurisdictions where Big Labor has control over public employees, union officials guarantee citizens pay more in taxes and get less for their tax money in return.

That's why it's vital you contact your U.S. Senators now and insist they vote against the Police and Firefighter Monopoly Bargaining Bill on all votes.

Senator Maria Cantwell: call (202) 224-3441 or e-mail

Senator Patty Murray: call (202) 224-2621 or e-mail

This may be our last chance to convince Democrat Senate Leader Harry Reid to back down.

After you've called your own Senators, please call Senator Reid directly at (202) 224-3542 and let his office know that this Congress no longer represents the will of the American people and demand that he pull any version of S. 3194 off the Senate calendar.

Right to Work supporters have stalled Harry Reid from ramming through this dangerous legislation before, but he is now safely re-elected and this is going to be the most difficult battle yet.

You see, the American people rejected pro-forced unionism incumbents on Election Day, but the newly-elected pro-Right to Work Congressmen and Senators will not take office until January.

The union bosses see Harry Reid's "lame duck" session as their best chance to ram through S. 3194. But why is that?

Incumbent Democrats who lost their re-election bids don't have to worry about being held accountable by the American people.

And with the next election two years away, fence-sitting Senators may figure that you aren't paying attention and they have "nothing to lose" by voting for the Police and Firefighter Monopoly Bargaining Bill now.

So please, contact your U.S. Senators now and urge them to vote against the Police and Firefighter Monopoly Bargaining Bill on all votes.

Your action could very well make the difference.

Urgently,

Mark Mix
