Greeking Forever

I just can't get over my fascination with the people in Barney Frank's district. Why would you vote for such a man? (And I use that term very, very loosely) What is going through peoples' minds when they vote for such a, person, lacking in honor and integrity? Jonah Goldberg puts it this way:

In 2007, when police busted Representative Barney Frank's partner for illegally growing pot, Frank waved away the controversy by saying he hadn't noticed since he's "not a great outdoorsman" and has trouble recognizing any plants.

Twenty years earlier, Frank endured another controversy when his one-time partner, personal aide and roommate was revealed to be running a prostitution service out of Frank's home. The Massachusetts congressmen insisted he hadn't noticed anything amiss until informed by his landlord.

And when Frank helped fuel a housing bubble that nearly crippled the economy for a generation, he again failed to notice anything was awry until it was obvious for all to see.

How do you ignore all that? How do you keep sending someone like that to Washington to represent you? Just listening to the man talk is painful...what he actually says is worse, and what he actually does is worse still. There is not one redeeming factor in Barney Frank, nothing good about the man that I can detect. So...what is it?? Makes me want to avoid the people in that area like the plague. There must be something in the water.
