Is this typical or what? Barack Obama honors the Nobel prize winner with a statement about himself.

One year ago, I was humbled to receive the Nobel Peace Prize -- an award that speaks to our highest aspirations, and that has been claimed by giants of history and courageous advocates who have sacrificed for freedom and justice.

It's always about you, isn't it Mr. President?

 

JASmius adds: Well, giants of history have to stick together, Jen.  Besides, it could have been worse - The One could have jetted over to Oslo again to accept the award on Liu Xiaobo's behalf.  And the Nobel committee could have given him a second one.

Maybe, just maybe, the Obamaspell is broken.
