Dirty Harry Deploys His Harem

Last night, Democrat Senator Kay Hagan -- who has previously and repeatedly said that she opposes the Police and Firefighter Monopoly Bargaining Bill (S. 3194) -- placed on the Senate calendar what appears to be that very bill, with some minor changes and a new bill number (S. 3991).

This bill could come up for a vote as soon as tomorrow and the vote promises to be razor close.

Your committed actions -- emails, faxes, and phone calls blasting the U.S. Senate -- has blocked Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid up until now.

Please, call and email your U.S. Senators IMMEDIATELY and demand they oppose any version of the Police and Firefighter Monopoly Bargaining Bill on all votes, including cloture and especially on the new S. 3991 version.

Inform your Senators that you are disgusted with the anything-goes tactics of Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi. First, over the summer, the union-label Congress tried to attach the Police and Firefighter Monopoly Bargaining Bill to unrelated war funding legislation.

You stopped them, so now they're going to "Plan B" -- a phony compromise in the middle of a renegade lame duck session of Congress that no longer represents the will of the American people.

Demand your Senators oppose every version of this dangerous legislation. Tell them to use every Senate rule at their disposal to force Harry Reid to spend what little time there is left in the lame duck session on things that really must get done -- not on paying back his union boss benefactors or other special interests.
