Determine never to be idle. No person will have occasion to complain of the want of time who never loses any. It is wonderful how much may be done if we are always doing. As we head in to this New Year of 2011, I find Jefferson's words timely. It is amazing that words have the ability to stand and outlast the days of a man. Today and tomorrow are the perfect time to reflect but more importantly to plan.
I like the dreams of the future better than the history of the past.
The new Congress will be taking office in a matter of days. The agenda is filled to the brim with issues we consider critical. We must start by encouraging our new Congressmen to remember the reason we elected them. In addition, we must remain diligent in our pursuits of truth, information, and holding our elected officials accountable. Elected officials at every level (City, County, State, Federal) need to hear from their constituents.
I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them. Leave no authority existing not responsible to the people. It takes time to persuade men to do even what is for their own good.

Next week we will be requesting nominations for the Patriot's of the Year! This will include a local Tea Party Group, a Grassroots Patriot, National Patriot and more! This will be a yearly awards event. Keep an eye out for our Patriot Awards form.
As we say goodbye to a difficult and tumultuous year, I encourage you to look forward and continue to educate when you are presented the opportunity. Educate and inform the whole mass of the people...They are the only sure reliance for the preservation of our liberty.
Whenever the people are well-informed, they can be trusted with their own government.
I truly believe that this year will be better than last, it will take due diligence and hard work. We must prepare for future election cycles as soon as possible.Sign up as Precinct Committeeman, locate real conservative candidates, take part in our School Boards, and stay engaged! There is much to do....and I know YOU will!
When you reach the end of your rope, tie a knot in it and hang on. Happy New Year Patriots!
